You can get permanent assassin 95% crit with one flask
You cant get permanent Zerker style leech with one flask You can get permanent juggernaut like defenses with one flask etc etc etc Oh and she's right next to Vaal Pact no small detail OFC PF gonna be most play - she can do it all. Best offense. Best Defense. Best leech. Most EHP. Biggest fix would be move VP below Marauder so it costs her like 20 pts to get there. That would also fix the ES problem instead of crazy stuff they are doing which will render ES obsolete. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Jun 14, 2017, 10:15:08 AM

I've been away for a while, only recently coming back so I don't really have a grasp of this Pathfider issue. Why are people asking to nerf PF? What will it do for other players? Why does the current PF bother you so much you want to nerf it? I have read all the posts so far and while they are asking for PF to be nerfed and complaining about flask use and whatnot, I still walk away with no understanding of why it bothers the people posting so much that they want it nerfed, and how that will benefit everyone (or at least them). Can someone explain why they cant live with PF as it is and what they will get out of nerfing it?

" Having something outclassing everything else is a balance issue, it plays an obvious part in the competition : ladder, and more important in the economy. When the content gets balanced around the strongest builds, then the others also suffer. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" I am not asking for (direct) Pathfinder nerf. I think the flask system isnt quite right. Example: Look at unique item vs rare item balance: Unique items are not (aside from some exceptions) inherently OP vs rare items. But now look at certain unique flasks like Rumi vs magic Granite. With this kind of "munchkin imbalance" its very difficult to balance something like Pathfinder. The better the flask setup the more powerful the ascendancy becomes. So its either underpowered for the 95% which dont have a set of unique flasks or overpowered for the 5% which do have it. This has to do with the "more than quadratic" setup of the Ascendancy: You get more out of the flasks and you can sustain them better. And (with status immunity / bleed removal) you also dont need to rely on non-unique flasks to fill those holes. -- Note that the picture painted here doesnt fully represent the truth: There are some builds which can kill bosses so fast that they dont have a flask sustain problem anyway. For those builds other Ascendancy (like Assassin or Berserker) can be better than Pathfinder. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

" Of course class would be picked still, it would still be very powerful. How close minded can people be... but i guess bandwagon jumpers are always ready to jump ship. |

The only people I've ever seen defend Pathfinder are people who use it as a crutch. Every game needs its girlfriend class I guess.
But since 3.0 came out, GGG tried hard to make ailments mean something, and the Pathfinder ailment immunity in one point completely shafts that idea. She's way too powerful for a class that's all about potions. Just nerf the bitch already and we can move on. Lavender or Leave.
