Thats only bosses, and that will affect EVERY build

Made some changes to the build:

it deals now more damage than in 2.6

Changes i made:

- Switched to a Berserker instead of Chieftain

- removed the whole helmet setup which used Vaal lightning Trap + enduring cry + decoy totem + duration

- now we use Spelltotem + Scorching Ray + Burning Damage + Elemental Focus

- Decoy totem (or trap with AB) and Enduring cry are now used in the mainhand setup. Dunno if Decoy is even worth it on a Berserker

Thanks for the guide and I'm looking forward to playing this in 3.0, however, I'm slightly worried how this build now performs during the leveling stage of the game. Is it still strong as in the dps won't be terrible while leveling or will it still perform better than most other builds?

I'm guessing that the numbers you got here and how it deals more damage is when you have your endgame gear and nothing else to worry about. I'm just curious since I've considered using it on HC and I would just like to hear your thoughts on it.

It's nice that you can keep up the DPS by switching to berserker... but of course we could always run a scorching ray totem in the past too. Now we have to use extra sockets for it, we'll be taking more damage, and have totems degening themselves in already hectic boss fights where we have to use traps, OoS, several totems, move around, flasks. Not to mention it's gonna be worse damage while leveling, although it won't degen itself as fast during leveling. I'm not happy and prefer the 2.6 version. I also prefer the chieftain to the berserker for ascendancies but it will be harder to justify going chieftain now.

if i understand your math right the new way to play in endgame is:

Old way (allways):

2x rf totem (+1 with shield) + 1x searing bond

New way:

Mapping:

2x rf totem (+1 with shield) + 1x searing bond

Boss:

1x rf totem (+1 with shield) +1 scorching ray + 1 searing bond
