" The ubers are actually just part of LOD. Not POD specific. So, other than the stuff on the POD wiki, or in the patch notes, you can just use Arreat Summit/The other D2LOD wikis/AmazonBasin, etc. for reference. The POD wiki is basically there to show the changes to certain runewords/items, etc. Otherwise, everything is the same as regular. One thing that is really exciting in the new patch tomorrow is that Diablo Clone is getting added to POD, and it is apparently an extremely difficult fight. Greendude has said he would be surprised to see anyone do it solo. It will be interesting to see how many Annihilus charms we actually see on the server as a result. U MAD?

It's been like 17 yrs since I played D2 so I remember almost nothing. I don't think I ever knew about the ubers tho.

" PlugY has it as one of its many options, as a sidenote hidden in the .ini file. Whether it's really relevant or not depends on how much you like grinding I guess, 'cause D2 has some garbage drop rates and Ubers are pretty mean from what I recall.. But it's there. In my last session of PoE, my full fire & dot trapper came across an imprisoned rare boss with elemental resistance and life regeneration.
Stacking both my 10k DoT fire trap and 3k consecrate trap on it did no damage. People in global chat suggested that it might be a boss thats immune to damage until something else is killed, but that couldnt be the case because it took some DoT damage when cursed with vulnerability. But my trapper is a feeble glass bomber with just 4.5k combined life and ES and couldnt outlast the bosses DPS through all that regen, and even with vulnerability as soon as it stepped out of my +120% AoE fire traps, it regenned too fast back to full health so I had to ignore it and run away. My usual tactic of bomb all the things and run the hell away wouldnt work. Also still in the process of levelling a Vortex gem to use, but have a level 19 cold snap trap for freeze support too. Couldnt freeze the boss either cos of its elemental resist. " Essence monsters get some pretty ridiculous bonuses to maximum Life, especially 4-essence rares. However, GGG did add a hard-counter skill gem called Frost Bomb for people still struggling against regen enemies: (lower right socket) Also, of course, Path of Exile has some more universal ways of dealing with resistances (Elemental Equilibrium, Elemental Weakness, Flammability in your case). Maybe you should get ahold of a Malachai's Artifice so you can do some quick swaps the next time you run into a "practical-immune" in Path of Exile. Need game info?
