Where is the Xbox One Beta?
There's no announced date of when the Xbox One beta starts. As soon as a date is confirmed, we'll let you know. Its Beta is shorter and more about testing that version of the game rather than balance testing (which the PC one handles).

Suggestions for GGG:
A button:
Using A button for Skills and Pickup items is very annoying.
Diablo 3 Console version has the same issue ! Skill is not triggered when an item is below the character, it's pickup the item instead.
Van Helsing Console version has "fixed" the issue using LT button instead of action buttons.

But on videos, it seems that A for pickup items appears only when character has no enemy targeted. Should help a lot but does it will resolve the issue ?

Flasks:
Using right stick directions could be a solution to allow player to move and using flasks.


What we know:
- Beta in 3-4 weeks (around July 10/14 ?) and release a couple of month later (around September 11/15 ?)
- Target at 1080p 60fps (dynamic resolution) and probably support XBox One X at 4K 60fps
- Loading seems to be very fast like PC: https://youtu.be/ZRh2DWPm6Cg
- Interface is very similare to PC version (skill tree and inventory)
- Some skills will be probably removed due to targeting issues and some others will have better feeling like Cyclone
- Some skills will use a quick cursor when using attack in place function
- Same content as 3.0 PC
- 5 flasks (with smart system, currently not definitive)
- Characters are saved on servers exactly like PC
- 8 skills can be set
- XBox exclusive (kai95GGG: "Nope that xbox exclusive")
- Quick logout by pressing Start then Y button
- Online multiplayer up to 5 players ???
- No local coop at launch and no promise for later (4min20sec: https://youtu.be/9z4oFgeMFJ0 )
- No MTX transfert from PC
- No weapon swap

What we can expect:
- Launch in July simultaneously with 3.0 PC or with a very short delay

What we don't know:
- "Social" entry in the menu, what does it mean ???
- Trading seems to be possible with a very simple system (Need to be confirmed)
- Gameplay changes
- Items filter

Honestly i cant imagine it being 1080p 60 fps, even AAA titles cant provide that, with way bigger dev teams.

I'm dead serious, because I feel like the game's gonna take a hit.
i have stopped playing on PC, that's why. And when i have played POE, it was in solo.

I love this game and playing it on console is an old dream.

So, you are not worried that the game's gonna get worse?

Seeing how GGG would have to balance around 2 platforms now, making skills easier to use, turning game more casual etc.

Besides, it would be a game that requires a constant internet connection, seeing as it's not an offline game and it never will be.

I don't think it will add much, only take away things that pc does better.

We might get performance adjustments; that includes lower res environment, less flashy skills and overall nerfs to damage and triggers because a console will have far less power (even though Xbox One isn't exactly weak).

I fear the game's gonna turn more bland.
XBox version will be maybe a little less dynamic but currently we don't have this info.
I'm not worried about PC version. You should probably check the end of the Chris interview, you will have some answers :)

Just because the video is rendered with these settings. You can clearly see the game struggling a bit when the player uses Glacial Cascade on low density mobs.
Oh I'm absolutely psyched about this release. I've played only a little on PC because 1. My PC blows and 2. Little kids don't let me sit down around my PC without needing tended to. A lot of times, I'll hop on the couch and play as long as I can. I love the game so I'll be excited to really get into it.

I do see a couple performance issues, but really, it looks great. I personally don't think it's going to hinder the PC version. Frankly, these PC Only folks need to take a step back and watch the progress instead of just complaining.

Long story short, you are not the only one. Everyday, I look for more news about the project!
