Siosa vendor is a mistake (skill gems rework?)

And it actually gives you a better incentive to complete his quest. I agree, this change is awesome. OP obviously didn't play the game when gems were only available from quest rewards and world drop.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Seeing "chain", "gmp", "inc duration" or "reduced mana" drop and being excited was quite a nice thing though.
Being happy with a quest reward because one nice gems was in there was also a thing.
Now ..... this is completley gone.
And most quest rewards are not even worth mentioning :/.
Need actual quest rewards, now that they trivialized completely gem acquisition.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

The game got a lot more fun for me when I could finally just go by gems to try out or improve builds rather than limp along with shit gems until the RNG graced me with a drop.

Besides, there are still gems that can only drop from enemies, they can't be bought. I only expect that pool of gems to continue growing. You know, the good shit, not literally "can I have a movement skill or not?" basic play build gems.
"We're pilgrims in an unholy land."
1. The OP has the option of not using Siosa to purchase gems
2. It doesn't hurt him that other people find Siosa selling gems useful
3. And yet he SO want to impose his way of playing on other players

*rolls eyes*

That kind of oldschool crap where things break, become irreversably inferior and whatever - fuck that shit. Leave that in the 90s please. ;)

you mean crap that made you actually manage your items ?

another proof as to why 90s games were and are the best (of course late 80s games too).
I need Summon Skeletons, Minion Damage, Minion Speed, Blind, Ice Trap.

On my Marauder.

Thank you Siosa. Thank you.

Thank fucking god you don't balance the game. This is the BEST ever fucking thing that has happen FUCK gem trading alright FUCK THAT SHIT it was FUCKING awful beyond dogshit awful and you should feel for EVEN reconsidering this thread.

This is best thing because... why? So you can complain all day 2 weeks in that you have nothing to do and are bored?
Honestly I_NO, you keep on ignorantly asking for changes that make everything faster, bashing D3 on occasions for being boring after a week and then do exactly the same thing that will turn PoE into D3.

Adding any gems to vendor was a massive mistake on GGG part. It was made because casuals keep on moaning about being tired of looking for gems. Lets be honest here - you are tired of everything. Trading, gearing, building tree, Lab, finding gems, finding uniques, grinding, farming, building map pool, grinding challenges and more.

You keep on asking for changes that makes the game more quality of life or less annoying, meanwhile not noticing that you are asking to cut more and more parts of it in the process.

Quest rewards are absolute joke now - they do nothing. Gems used to be somewhat useful, people planned their builds with quest rewards in mind. Rares were fucking joke. Some side quests were ok because of the gems they gave. Some gems were actually worth something...
Now you do only one side quest to get all the gems, not giving a shit about any other gem-giving quest.

Problem with trading gems is not problem of GEMS. It is problem of TRADE.

You keep on asking to make everything boring and self-found because trading is annoying, and you keep on missing the point over and over again.
TRADE IS THE PROBLEM. WE NEED TRADE IMPROVEMENTS TO FIX THOSE PROBLEMS.
Gutting another part of the game will do nothing.
