Hi, I am not sure...I can't look on your characters in your profile. Maybe you make it public or you post some stats and gear. Also under "Theory" you find a part about freezing.

Yeah and I am pretty sure your damage is just too low to freeze bosses.

The first thing I would is improve your weapon... look this is mine i just bought for 40chaos:


Look for following stats:
- increased critical strike chance for spells: +90%
- spell damage: +50%
- critical strike multiplier: +20-30%
- add damage to spells

Buy a divinarius dagger... it is about 1chaos atm.

Then your winds of change have only 30% projectile damage get some with about +45% (shouldnt be too expensive). Try to get a shield with +critical strike chance to spells.

Our most important damage boost is choir of the storm (atm at about ~1,2ex) when you are able to afford it get it. Your helmet has no spark enchant... for the starter you can get "increased spark damage" because it is much cheaper.

I hope this helps a bit..

one other question, at what "tier" can i find every single item in game?
like in d2 there is some places where all items can drop is it like that in poe?

Drop from enemies:
- normal: same item level
- magic: +1 item level
- rare: +2 item levels
That means as higher the levels of mobs the higher the item levels they can drop.

Hey, new player here, how is this build meant to sustain itself? You take vaal pact relatively early on, but I don't see any source of lifesteal on this build besides Vinktar's and Warlord's mark which you've listed as optional. Am I missing something?

Hi, I really would recommend taking warlord's mark ... optional is only the way you do it. You can do it with heralds curse setup, cwdt or linked with blashemy. Atm I have warlord's mark in two setup because I just think it is so important... I use it in herald's and CWDT setup. Also also assassin's mark gives us some mana/life per kill.

I never tried it out but I am sure it can boost your dps but I would not sacrifice spell crit, spell damage, add damage to spells for it. You can boost your cast speed pretty good with jewels... I always felt that is enough.

I readed your post attentively, but didn't find any dps explanation? Am i right that the tooltip didn't show the "real" dps?
Now i lvl70 and i have 16k dps in tooltip but i feel its much bigger :)
What means number in tooltip? Damage from one spark per second?

Look in my opinion tooltip dps are more or less just a random number. Spark is the best example for it... your tooltip dps don't change when you increase for example:
- increased duration
- projectile speed (not 100% sure about that but I think so)
- piercing
- just try out different maps and you will see the difference when spark hit multiple times.
I musst confess I am not exactly sure how the tooltip dps are calculated but... how can the be right? Are the calculated for one spark hitting? What if 5 of our 10 sparks hit multiple times? (with piercing)

I thinkg the tooltip dps are usefull to decide for example if I want to take more spell damage or more crit chance in an jewel but not much more.
