Predict 3.0, win a Mirror of Kalandra
new mechanic? u mean end of quadra dipping? deaful attack ftw
Poison change name to intoxication and has only 1 stack last forever. Also leveling and item lvl requirement has been removed from the game. that mechanic would be called forever grind. In order to get rid of clearspeed meta cap global movement speed at 100% but make all skills instant so everything feels great. Last edited by BookOfWisdom#0110 on Feb 7, 2017, 4:02:44 PM

They might also do something like making every active skill gem available at level 1 and scaling them down for it to feel okay. Doubtful, but could be neat.
I also want something to be done that will eliminate "level to 68 as XX build that is completely different than my final build." I hate having to wait until 70 to transition into a build, typically won't play those. |

My guess: You will be able to pay currency to get Levels/Waypoints/Quests.

One of the classic strains of ARPG's (aside from Borderlands) has been the isometric viewpoint. Given the screenshots we have seen in the xbox trailer along with xbox development, I am guessing that the new "mechanic" enables you to switch from isometric to First Person view and/or side view.
This would be a radical change mind you, but it would also be a pre-requisite for an immersive VR experience. Which of course would be a game changer. Looking at Kole or Malachai would be a new experience. |

New mechanic: Get rid of Cruel, make Merciless variable difficulty; this will essentially mean you can scale monster strength and reward level. This likely isn't it, since it's not "came changing" enough (Diablo 2 already had something similar in single-player and open Bnet mode).

since chris said something very interesting about this ring idea on reddit, I think that you will be able to socket jewels in gem sockets and gems into jewel sockets.
the reason for this is, depending on what gem you socket where in the tree, you will get a different bonus that replaces the bandit rewards, which will be removed entirely from the game (trying very hard to make the connection to the cruel difficulty here). oh and most likely there will be something like you can only socket one red, one green and one blue jewel in total, so you won't get infinite bonuses. something along these lines. They will release more maps that are specialized to the Forsaken Masters which contain specific crafting rewards and items used to level the masters from level 8 to 9 |
