" Yes! The Butterfly has elemental resistences, can use whirling blades (or teleport skills), uses ice and fire related abilities, has speed, can float over traps. It can grab onto your character inflicting mediocre damage, but it wouldn't help your case if this occured in the middle of fending off a mob.
