After taking estrogen for three months!

re: the sports thing... yeah, it's FUBAR.

The only logical endgame is genderless/co-ed competitions for all sports if we are socially abandoning the concept of gender. For non-physical sports like chess, it's 100% bullshit that it's even split on gender to begin with.

Practically, not a whole lot changes -- all the top teams in the world are still going to all be men. Below the top there'll be a few mixed gender teams.

Worst of all, around the time we finally sort all that out we're gonna have to deal with cyborgs in sports. Just can't catch a break. :P

An elegant solution to the current issue may simply be to classify sports based on chromosomes, in acknowledgement of the performance variance between XX and XY individuals. Instead of "women's" sports, you could see "XX Games." You can be whatever "gender" you wish, but you will still compete within your physical peer group. =^[.]^=

Sports are based on artificial limits. I have a deep issue with such limits. Goals should be satisfied in any manner possible so long as it doesnt endanger others. It is a subtle thing, but i think 'law' has seeped into the very consciousness of most everyone... reducing our ability to conceptualize novel solutions. In effect making us less intelligent despite our highly advanced information sharing and storing technologies.
For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it

Thats just plain transphobic. Where do XXY and XXXY people and such perform then? And a XX trans man has enough test to compete against women and a XY trans woman has low enough test to compete against women.

Transgender weightlifter wins international women’s competition, sets national record

All of this has riled up some folks who see it as uneven playing fields. Garry Marshall, the president of Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand, said his governing body is simply applying the rules set forth by the IOC. Those rules allow Hubbard to compete as a woman after undergoing certain transitional steps.

With Hubbard’s eyes on bigger prizes, and the next Summer Olympic Games now three years away, this issue isn’t going away anytime soon.

So? If she is on estrogen she is also on testosterone blockers. She has female lvls of those stats.

I get your point....but the problem is that things will be worse if we do not undertake the surgery.

I don't think you do get my point; If someone truly believes that they are a goat trapped in a human's body, letting him get surgery to remove his hands and feet and have them replaced with hoofs could make things better or it could make them worse. The other option is to try to find out why he feels like this and get him some mental help.

If you tell him that the problem isn't in his head, it's actually society's fault for not being more accepting of goats who are born into human bodies, and if he just makes himself more like a goat then everything will feel better, would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

The point of that particular study was that things got a lot worse AFTER surgery, around 10 years after to be precise. There are a lot of other studies out there with similar findings.

Most of those studies are done by anti trans people. Get your facts right. Look up real statistics dont just fall for any anti trans crap. Many legit studies have even been misrepresented to suit the anti trans agenda. And making an example like man thinks he is a goat is very transphobic as it cant be compared. Being trans is a thing since forever, it precedes modern understanding of it on a genetic level.

First, learn what a phobia is, then come back and apologize for your baseless insult. Second, a man who thinks he's a goat and a man who thinks he's a woman are comparable because they both think they are something that they biologically aren't. It's also comparable because even if he really really wants to physically become a goat, there are no surgeries that can actually make it happen. Sure, he could take some medicine to grow some extra hair and get his limbs mutilated, but he will still be a human male.

Well, this is the very definition of transphobia. You are so cared of trans people you come up with non comparable illogical crap.

Im a woman with XY chromosomes. Big deal, i just get on spiro and estradiol. Deadpeng even goes as far as having surgery it seems, good for her.

Wanting to be a damn goat is insane, being born with the wrong chromosomes is not.

Why is wanting to be a different species insane but wanting to be a different gender of the same species not? Species dysphoria is a real thing, you're just so scared of trans species people that you come up with illogical crap. This is the very definition of transspeciesphobia.

Guess you never heard of klinefelters syndrome. Caroline Cossey, who was in a bond movie has XXXY chromosomes, Lauren Foster has XXY chromosomes. Some just have XY chromosomes and are female and some have XX and are male. Way too many variations in chromosomes and conditions. Its medical, not mental. The brain is wired right, the chromosomes are not. Stop bashing us. Educate yourself instead.
