So apparently throwing in an offer is scamming?

So by removing "Listed" isnt enough?

It would've been my fault if I included "Listed for X"

but to accuse someone of trying to scam you is just plain wrong and I dont think thats even one of the processes of scamming people in any kind of game.

He could've placed "Fixed price" on his thread to prevent people from "Scamming" his merchandise.

I feel cheated when people modify my listed price. If they do that, I dont trust them and usually I am not chatting with them, actually I do not respond to them at all. It saves my nerves :).

Well I can't throw in an offer if I wouldn't modify the listed price? and besides I CLEARLY REMOVED "LISTED FOR" and its his fault for not reading or for not knowing how to read or understand the whole statement?

You have to do it at the end that's basically the rule well self made rules by the community hence why the guy got so offended.

I am fairly new to the game I currently have 450 to 500 hrs of gameplay thru steam, and I am fairly sure there are no rules in-terms of trading ive never seen one or never heard of one. I also have tried doing that leaving the offer at the end, the seller(s) also gets offended when i show up in their H.O with the amount of my offer without em reading the PM carefully.

I guess the lesson of this discussion is READ PROPERLY IT DOESNT MATTER WHERE THE OFFER IS WRITTEN whether its in front middle or at the end READ CAREFULLY otherwise its not the buyers fault(I am fairly sure every PoE player can read).

And don't accuse someone of something you clearly aren't sure if thats what they're trying to do.

Well, if "whisper" message is modified in any way, I feel the same. Sometimes I do hundreds of trades per day; nobody really care what is in that whisper written except: what item, where it is and how much.

If you type into that whisper "I CLEARLY REMOVED "LISTED FOR" it would catch my attention, but if you delete two words and you think its CLEARLY REMOVED AND PERFECTLY VISIBLE than you are mistaken. No offense here.

Anyway I can understand your shock from reaction, nevertheless thats quite normal reaction especially from somebody, who was cheated in that way before.

Dont take it personally, you didnt make it intentionally, shit happens.
