Thank you for your replies earlier Sim, and I really had fun with this build. Right now it is just my shaped strand farming character, currently at level 91. For this being my first league playing the game, I had a lot of fun leveling this character and figuring out this unique build. Also, you're right, it's not noob friendly at all!
I decided to forgo the alchemy nodes until my last nodes because I'm only farming shaped strand, and the monster distribution for that specific map is good enough to keep my flasks up without a problem. I ended up running 100 shaped strands as an experiment and this build is great for it! Obviously not the best gear, but hopefully I'll improve that in standard. Thanks again!

Is Doryani better than a wand similar to yours in the gear section? I found a wand similar but was debating between the two.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong when using vrf on bosses. I don't see any burn after using it. Am I just that unlucky with it not critting? I've failed 4/4 Minotaur and 1 Hydra. Everything else dies easily. Some one take a look at my profile. Thanks.

" You get your ignite chance from boots and flammability and your tree. So if your conflux (from elementalist is down) you should still have a fairly high chance to ignite. If you wanna be 100% sure, wait for your conflux to be up. |

Is the green dream jewel really neccessary for this build to work?? Its tooo expensive for me.

this is my gear, i cant for the life of me get the 4 red sockets on my gloves because they're INT. . .so at least 1 socket will either be blue or green :( i feel like not having the 2 red golems is hurting my damage considerably :/ i just dont feel like forking over another 150 ex for another pair of gloves that accomplishes the same thing as my original gloves already does. . . - I copied your spell tree exactly (except for 2 or 3 increased ele nodes on the shadows starting spot) - Build performs the same as it did in all your videos i think I need to level my CWDT, Immortal Call, and golem gems. not sure though Oh and you werent specific about jewels. . . i ended up using like 3 of these because you werent specific in the jewel section. . . other than that, do you think I did a good job emulating your idea :P? |
