Just remember next time you're designing a unique item to use your spreadsheet and calculator rather than your imagination and enthusiasm.

Yeah, it's much better to make something with cool text that people don't even bother picking up because it's useless except to a few hipster builds. Money well spent.

I am actually afraid of getting something like a mirror or skyforths ever.
I would probably immediately craft and fuse anything I could ever want on that (and many other characters?).
That would kill my drive to play completely.

I'm not talking about the flavour text, though that's a part of it.
Just because it has flavour doesn't mean it's trash.
Look at Voltaxic Rift, Mjolner, Carcass Jack and Ventor's Gamble. Those are supporter-designed uniques with flavour which are (or were) powerful.
