The beam could do infinite damage and it would not matter, all the BV player has to do is whirl once and loses barely .2 seconds of cast time.

Except the golem build is like 5 times more expensive.. and only been around for a few weeks.
I don't think it's bad to have a 15ex+ build smashing the hardest content. Something has to be the best, of course. It sucks, in my opinion, that it's the "stand there and tap flasks" build. ARPG gameplay shouldn't be super complex, but I would like a hypothetical place where the best performing builds use vaguely challenging gameplay to make it happen, be it timing of cooldowns, positioning, or using the Konami code at the right time.

Alas, that's hard to achieve, and in the long run for this genre it's items and mechanics that matter, not skill. So, hey, let's all give up on the Flurry hype and stand still and drink flasks to win. Profit!
How does a Added Lightning Damage to Spells Vinktars compare to a conversion one? Does it necessitate usage of phys to lightning gem?

Also am very interested in this build since I never tried out BV when it was popular, but looking in detail now kind of demoralised. I do have some CI gear lying around but its nowhere near what this guy has, and it looks disheartening because even with his really good gear its still about 11k ES. Does the passive tree take too few %ES nodes and compensates with %ES crafted mods on jewellery? My ES gear currently is still a Eye of Chayula and a dream frags, seems that to do this build it will take tons of currency for all the gear.

The main issue is how they nerf some builds, but choose for others to remain really strong. Such as the one in the OP's post.

Pretty much yes. If you use the spell version of Vinktar's then running Phys to Lightning will give you that nice leech your looking for out of vinktar's you get from the conversion one. At the same time the Conversion one still gives even more leech with the same support of Phys to Light because thats that much more lightning damage you will be leeching it just isnt that nessisary at that point and frees up that slot for something else. But i actually prefer it myself.

BV only hits every 0.xx seconds however it's damage is 1000000000% more buffed in return like it's VERY clunky but it's doing it's job sure.

Anyway several of my ''people'' have tested the poison thing and yeah it's doing more then it's intended but not 600% for some reason people think but it's more like around 200% still a big number but you get the point.

BV is a good skill still a wonderful skill mind you granted I'm in god tier ultra super mega tier gear.

Anyway BV is perfectly fine of where it is except the whole well poison ''bug'' I don't even know if that's a bug or not we're all confused really because the poison is interacting with the more modifier within the blades which is well you know ACTUALLY doing what's it's suppose to be doing.

Regardless of that's good right now it is fucking clunky af I want the old BV back personally like the only survival right now due the amount of hits you're doing is the vessel you can't really survive a full out tank anymore well you can to a degree by putting warlords mark in there however you're still hitting at a 0.xx second not every 0.1 second like it use to so to fix that you have vessels which takes care of that.
