The guide says to only link empowering with golem if you have a +1 chest. I see people doing it without a +1 chest. Is it better than Elemental focus support even if you dont have +1 on chest?

No it's not.

You need +1 chest as well as level 4 empower and level 21 golem.

Im sorry if this is answered already ive read the entire post but never found the topic. Is it ok if i dont stack harmony or eminence i have stack 16% minion damage instead that ive got from my srs build. Or stacking harmony/eminence much better?

I'm trying the 4/1/1 setup but I've only recently respecced an old character into it so I haven't yet tested it on anything that doesn't die instantly anyway to compare speeds.

But here's the maths behind it and why it should be superior.

Necro gets about 150% increased damage from ascendancies vs elementalist having an extra golem. We will disregard any minion damage on the tree and assume that's equivalent on both characters. Let's say each golem has X damage (doesn't matter how much damage it is, will vary depending on gem levels and gear). The necro golems do 2.5X damage + 0.2X per harmony. 5 golems therefore totals to 12.5X damage + X per harmony.

Elementalist has 4 golems each doing X damage as well but gets 0.6X damage per harmony totaling 4X damage + 2.4X per harmony.

At 6 harmonies, necro is doing 18.5X total damage while elementalist is doing 18.4X total damage which puts them even on damage with elementalist surpassing necro with each additional harmony after that.

tl;dr if you run <6 harmonies, 5 golem necro is better. If you run >6 then 4/1/1 elementalist is stronger.
