But even title says sc/hc lol and i cant afford dual scourges

Almost all builds are SC/HC just that not all of them will make it to level 100 or are viable for deathless runs of Shaper/Guardians/Ubers. Some builds require more tweaking to make it work than others. This build has no mitigation and a smaller healthpool than HC friendly builds. You should probably play HOWA if you want a blade flurry CI build in HC as it's more affordable and has better leech and clear speed than this build.

By comparison Scourge has a more leech, less reflect issues, doesn't require INT gear, has slightly more attack speed, has pets to soak some damage, and steals charges from enemies. I think Scourge also doesn't need Vulnerability like HOWA needs Ele Weakness, so you could maybe run Enfeeble/Temp Chains or something on Scourge. My experience is with a non-crit HOWA Raider though, so maybe there's a better crit Inquisitor build for HC that lets you get some defensive curses. I'd imagine there's other tweaks you can do to the builds to make them survive better in HC such as Enduring Cry, Rumis, dual curse, etc.

Congrats on beating Shaper. You should definitely roll over your level 20 Blood Rage/Fortify to 20% quality. I would recommend Insanity Essence gloves but it doesn't seem like it'd be worth dropping the curse on hit setup with your auras. I'd still probably use Herald of Ash over Hatred, though.

It's probably trivial content to some players now, but for the first time I downed Uber Atziri! I've never done that before.



The fight was pretty trivial with this character though. Vaals went down in 1-2 seconds, and the trio just required some kiting. Atziri herself didnt get more than 2 attacks off in any phase. She pretty much died instantly. To practice the Uber Atziri fight, I did normal Atziri on a 2-link.

I think my variant of LiftingNerd's build can do all content in the game. I've downed Shaper, Uber Atziri, all Guardians, twinned T16 Vaal Temple, and all T15 maps. To finish off the league, I'll probably try to get 36 challenges and get to level 98.

Overall, I think Lifting's build is a good starting point, but is much stronger with tweaks. Eg, rare dagger instead of Bino's, using Haste, and getting leach elsewhere so that Warlord's Mark/Heretic's Veil is unnecessary.

I took a look at your dual scourge setup and it looks interesting. Just wondering how does it fare vs reflect maps? phys reflect maps a no go? Im running the mortem morsu build by windz and its working decently well for me but feels like its lacking the frontload damage im looking for. I ran berserker life based bladeflurry, i liked the front up damage but having 5kish health doesn't feel safe. I found a dual scourge build but it needs a skyforths, got interested in your setup because you run chayulas instead of skyforths. How much damage do you lose/gain by using skyforths instead of chayulas?

You don't need Skyforths and you don't lose much damage with Chayula. I never tried the builds in reflect maps but I figure it's doable as long as your Atziri's flask is up. Dual Scourge is the strongest build I've played in SC next to Vaal Spark.

Looking over some builds in HC Breach Ladder. Most of the player builds are Auramancers and Guardians.

Etup is rank 2 on HC ladder with a tweaked version of this dagger build using the leech wheel. I guess this build viable you but you can't rely on Blasphemy Warlords. If you play this build know that Binos is much slower than HOWA.

Here's a couple rank 30 Raider HOWA players on HC ladder. They're similar to the one I'm using but they use Skyforths and Spectral Throw. Skyforths is definitely not important, though. I tried ST HOWA but after playing Scourge it felt really slow. It does 1/3 BF's damage, but maybe they're using it since it's safer. Look at my build and theirs and choose whatever works for you.

It gives you a bit more clear speed, especially with Dying Sun. Slightly less single target damage and you won't shatter things so I guess it really depends on what content you're doing. It gives you a bit more mana to whirling around and frees up a few aura nodes, though.

So I have been having a lot of fun with this build but am now stuck and it's driving me insane! I am trying to get past lvl 84 so I can hit 89 and get my second curse. I have tried improving my gear as much as poss but I think my lack of knowledge is making me choose the wrong things to go for. I am currently doing tier 7 maps but keep dying like once or twice by surprise on some maps which of course sets me back again lol. I tried dropping to tier 5,6 maps but then xp takes forever (even with sextants) Not sure where I am going so wrong!? I have 11k es and just under for the res's.

I have tried to follow Lifting's guide as best as poss but please could someone have a look at my gear/gems and pick it apart for me (I know it's awful!) I do know I need just a little more RES for 75 and am missing 30 movement speed (which I took the hit for the res's). I also know my flasks need to be 20%.





Not really sure how to link my Passive tree buts it's almost identical to Lifting's one but without the dual curse node. My char is called Blade_DBF.

You can link your passive tree by going to your character profile on this site and copying the "link to this build." You can also click "open in a new window" and copy the URL at the top. You go to Privacy Settings to open your profile to the public if you want people to see your characters without linking it.

I've responded to a lot of people in this thread so I'm sure if you do some reading you will find good advice. There's nothing seriously wrong with your gear or links as far as I can see. 11K ES is more than enough.

Advice:
1. Change your passive tree immediately. Use Etup's build I linked above or respec to get the Dual Curse node. Drop Force Shaper and Deep Thoughts to get Dual Curse if you need to. You could also respec your character to play Dual Scourge like me and many others have.
2. Use a quality Blood Rage in your weapon/shield so you can weapon swap to disable it. It gives a lot of damage and attack speed.
3. Stop using Kiaras. Use Chayula or Valyrium instead. Kiaras is unreliable and you will die in harder content when the flask runs out of charges.
4. Stop using Ancestral Warchief as it requires too much STR, too many links, and needs to be placed to be useful. Some sort of PCOC setup would be best like CWDT or on shield charge.
5. Quality up your flasks.
