" Enjoy. Try not to fall on the floor from laughing :) "Nope, they don't give buffs. Proof is in the link above. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" You do get the 20% ias, but apparently, that isn't a buff for some reason. Path of Exile ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

"Exactly. Even RF, which is a spell that deals no spell damage(while steal dealing damage, it is just, y'know, indirect damage despite it being caused by the spell activation), makes more sense than that. " Incorrect!!! The merger of two galaxies is a very violent event! It is true that there are very large distances between stars and other bodies in space, but the violent gravitational forces, will cause alot of matter to be thrown far out into space... Other matter will be ripped apart or consumed, by the two merging black holes... Please don't dumb down others, by talking about stuff you know nothing about... |

So... you can have onslaught buff and onslaught property for double the onlaught and half the icon?
Sounds like a good deal. Is there more small print? |

No, I think it is just an engine limitation of Flasks, from the way Mark_GGG seemed to put it.
He seems to imply that Onslaught can't be a buff, it can only be a property. And it is well known that Onslaught is boolean, either you have it or you don't. The Flask that grants Onslaught just happens to have an icon because the Flask Effect is to give you the Onslaught property (you mouse over the Flask Effect icon and it says "You have Onslaught.") In practical terms, this is similar to corrupting "Cannot be Knocked Back" onto a Kaom's Roots. It doesn't do anything practical. EDIT: Based on my understanding, even though Mark says "There... can't be a buff icon," I'm pretty sure there's a way to jerry-rig it: Create a new Buff, whose only Effect is "You have Onslaught." Raider Ascendancy should then give this buff instead of directly giving the property. (Essentially, instead of giving you a box of pizza, it gives you a delivery boy who holds a box of pizza). This was brilliant to read and the onslaught deal made me laugh pretty dam hard.
Really GGG that is your reasoning for no buff icon? -facepalm- oh boy i can't even take them seriously a lot of the time but that was gold. |

" it's the same craziness as "applying the burning condition to an entity without igniting it", you can't explain that to newbies without them turning away from the game. same goes for the affix system where nearly all tools fail to reliably identify all the affixes. complexity done wrong... age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" If that is your impression I wonder what you actually did when you played PoE. Perception is reality.
