Diablo 3 Patch Notes

...and then we doubled it!
Skills: - New DoT skills released! They deal 2-3x more damage than existing DoT skills! - New Melee skill released! No longer would you need to use these pesky 200% weapon dps melee skills, here's one that deals 400% weapon dps! - Golems were fixed. By doubling their damage! Except the choice may overwhelm players, so we took the most damaging golem, and trippled its damage! Item changes: - New set released! This is beginning of new era! Collect 4 Primordial Golemancer jewels and your golems will rule the battlefield! (if you don't collect them however, you will have half as many golems who won't even bother attacking enemies. But why would you do that, it's obvious you have to wear this set, that's the point behind the item sets, right?) The philosophy behind these changes is limitting time players spend being creative and making choices. So you will faster begin mowing down the mobs while watching your favourite streamer mowing down the mobs faster than you and earning donation money on it! New game mode: - kill monsters. ON TIMER! So you don't do anything stupid, like playing non-meta or enjoying the views or playing your pace. You are not supposed to play non-meta. Farm faster! On serious note: guys, where is this going? Not a signature. Last bumped on Dec 2, 2016, 5:45:52 PM

" where is everything else going? on a collision course with the andromeda galaxy... Until that time, stop asking questions, i for one welcome our new blizzard overlords |

I kind of agree, when it feels like there is almost no choice anymore it feels dry because we are used to make a lot of decision in PoE. I hate treshold jewels, I think they really need to go, but these gems come close. Personally I always had trouble with uniques in general as it limits a lot of things, more than it creates. I just hope they make TONS more of these, then we have at least a choice. But then again making 10-15 unique jewels per same group of skills, I guess that's not happening either.

" In the event that two galaxies collide, very little actually happens. It less of a collision, and more of a "passing through, dont mind me." event. |

I dont get it. This game is SO MUCH better than it was and it keeps it's pace of improving. WHY DO YOU WHINE?

" I find your lack of gravity disturbing. |

I have the feeling that this'll open up a lot of possibilities for golem based builds. before we had elementalist, clayshaper and everything minion ... now we have options. go full golem and redo the ziggyD build, or combine with other stuff and make something else.
They don't look mandatory for golems, but you can get lots of shit out of them. My question would be, if there's other primordial jewels to come. Like trap, totem, potion, idk. Sorta like a primordial buffet. |

" Are you enjoying life in North Korea!? I'm afraid for this game, and the direction it takes. League after league, they guide players into this new META. I don't like it, but I can respect and understand it. They want to create something new, create some hype. Make players feel that they're doing something different. But we've always had a choice. A choice not to follow the META. But now they're introducing a whole god damn LEAGUE guiding(read: forcing) you to go all clear-speed - gating a lot of content behind one type of builds; DPS oriented builds. I really do not like it. PoE has always been this game that almost had this amazing build diversity. Almost balanced. But they CHOSE not to take the last step, because the focus is always on the META-META. They COULD balance it a little more, though true balance is close to impossible. They COULD focus on revamping under-powered skills. Under-powered classes. Under-powered defenses - to make the game more build diversity-friendly. But when the driving force is to create this new META, followed by new, overpowered skills and uniques, all other things becomes neglected. But it is hope. They DID take something "old" and boring, and made something interesting out of it; golems. But things like "melee" and "life vs ES" have been neglected since before golems initially were introduced. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
