why does PoE not have set items/equipments like in diablo 3?

I like the idea of sets used in MU
the benefits of the set are optional, these advantages are progressive, two parts of the set unlock one option, with a new piece you unlock more options, I think it fits perfect in the POE, you choose what benefit to have and still use unique items for your build or full set to get full benefits  The end of all that is - The winter has come - Hold the door - The North Remembers

Seems your new to poe so quite simply to explain .... its Not D3
Also long long time ago it was stated that unique's in the game will not get full focus to make them the best of the best and rather Have rare's be the Target Item to seek! |
