Izaro needs an overhaul. Or does the game?

Self cast/CWDT enfeeble, stibnite flask and decoy totem. Ez. Don't need mitigation. I face tank him on all characters, because thts just my playstyle. Whether armour based or evasion based. Never been killed by uber izaro (EXCEPT for first release when I was feeling out his damage).
My most recent Uber lab ascension (not farming) was with a character that is very squishy (ie 4.2k life), and wears Abyssus. I did the lab on a rather hard day (conduits + idols). First attempt I died in the final boss room to a leap slam because I made a mistake. Second run I did better and was fine.

Wearing an Abyssus and Kintsugi, his basic attacks would take about 2k life. However, I didn't just stand there and tank it; this character is a ST build, and I kited. Between fast WB, Izaro being blinded if he got to close, Izaro being maimed, and my high dodge, I was fine most of the time even if I made a mistake. But I wasn't taking windslashes to the face on a character that wasn't meant to.

Anyways on topic I don't think Izaro needs to be changed. If your build has good defensive mechanics you can facetank him most of the time, moving to avoid certain attacks and/or moving out of the green circle. There are also certain attacks (like the Goddess's green blobs) that are not used if you are in melee range.

I think he does a bit too much damage per hit tbh. Its fine for an atziri style boss that you take on simply because you want to, but for a passive awarding boss its too much and too build specific.

What do you mean by this? As with all of the other Izaro buffs, Charges can be dispelled, and dealt with. Sure you cannot get a full-key run, but if you are just running for Ascendancy Points, then you just... remove his charges.

No they cannot be dealt with in the same way you can deal with other mechanics since they start regenerating immediately after you remove them, it's a lottery. They're also considerably more impacting thant the rest of powerups.

In addition you don't kill Izaro in two of the fights. if you would charges would be fine, since you could cull him. But that way it is hard to tell when he is at the right amount of HP to discharge him. If you wait a bit too long he runs away with all the charges, if you are bit too early, he will regenerate at least one.

I think from all the times I did him I almost always end up with one charge still on him.
The only fix Izaro needs is the super annoying and unfair behavior when he keeps attacking for random 5-15 sec after conceding the fight and becoming invulnerable. He REALLY needs to fuck off the moment you defeat him.

Which base damage buff are you talking about? When did it happen?

The only "damage buff" I am aware of is the curse nerf at start of Essence league.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
