Build of the Week S06E07: The Freezerator by maddognils

interesting and fun looking build. Good video as usual promoting it. The cospris were expensive before this,now they will be even more expensive.

Nice editing in the video and such but the build itself is really boring. (and no im not rooting for the worm build)

I set this up the other day before this was BoTW and I think it's really fun to play. I normally prefer tanky/block builds but the perms-freeze sure does the trick here. Really fun to freeze everything on the screen.

This tree could be better if he drop the 5 6% ES nodes near the "Foresight" nodes and then he can go for "Unnatural Calm"

30% ES vs 20 intel 30% ES 15% ES Recharge Rate & +1 Max lightning res

im sure i can find better option but just this one is far better

I'm playing playing similar build, but more hc viable. only 1 cospri + shield and pure freezing pulse instead.

As someone who doesn't really read the forums and isn't up on all the latest builds, I found the build interesting.

Im also sad that there were no subtitles on the video.

Nice build, 35+ ex without ez shaper... abosuletly must to try, especially to begginers.

My thoughts exactly. Past BotW's have made me want to try them out. I made the Barrage-build and I think it's one of the best BotW's ever. I wanted to do a Dreamfeather too, even bought some gear. Then I remembered how pissed off I was when Spectral Throw was nerfed by removing the max number of hits to two. Yeah it was OP but I liked it that I actually had to AIM and decided to do something else. (Well, I ended up doing a Rieve Assassin which isn't very creative either but anyway...)

This BotW is a very generic build. Standard CI stuff with standard CoC things, slap on these *meh* CoC-replacement swords and you're good to go.

There's a bit of creativity in optimization (the projectile gloves and The Dying Sun so you don't need to do smaller damage because of LMP etc. Then again: who wouldn't use dying sun nowadays if they can fit it on their bottle-belt) and obviously I'm not trying to say that the build would be bad. Heck, I can see myself playing it 'cause I like CoC a lot. It seems fun and effective and for that I'm glad that someone has a guide up for people to emulate it.

I understand that GGG wants people to see this build and want people to accept it as one of the real solutions to their lack of good ol' CoC's but even if it fixes a problem for some, is it really the greatest recent build to showcase? An inspirational piece of theorycrafting to drop our jaws? I think not.

fyi I didn't even take those. They probably did this on a lvl 100 character or something.
