I use healrd of thunder for about 5k extra dps plus the constant lighting thing it does which is always up as a result of shaper of desolation.

Your next point is really interesting and something I may test, although the points I would save would have to go toward getting the additional curse on the skilltree. What would you rather have 5k dps and pot breaking lighting or 2% life leech and endurance charges, I am not sure for softcore but I would rather have the latter on hardcore.

So far so good with the build. Im a poor guy so im using a cloak of flame and wands to level with. Thinking of switching to carcass jack seems how its kinda cheap this league though. I just got a helm with the chain enchant and man did my clear speed go through the roof with it. Loving this build i might actually stick with it for a long long time.

PS: Switching to slower projectiles for bosses is insane. Love watching em fall like nothing.

Hi i'm going to try this out as CI Elementalist Tree and i have a question , would a +3 bow work? im very interesting in doing this build as CI


A +3 bow and quiver would absolutely work and would be ideal

Hello, I have a few questions and suggestions and I would like to have your opinion about this :

Little Skilltree optimization :

Instead of 16% Spell Damage (at the Witch start) + 6% Elemental Damage near Celestial Judgement, you can take the two 12% Fire Damage nodes near Celestial Judgement.

That's a 2% Fire Damage increase only but Fire Damage can increase burning damage.

Malachai's Artifice :

Could this ring be usefull ?

Socketed with Lightning Golem, it could add a good amount of damage.

100% uptime of Elemental Overload :

A very good way to activate Elemental Overload is :
Orb of Storms + Increased Critical Strikes + Increased AOE.
It can provide a 100% uptime + additional shock chances.

For a more defensive approach with 4 links you can add Knockback support. It creates a safe area around you and creates a good synergy with Temporal Chains.

Mastermind of Discord :

Mastermind of Discord ascendancy + Orb of Storms could provide 25% Fire penetration for Magma Orb.
What's your opinion about this ?

Budget edition :

I can't afford a good staff and I have tried this dual maces and it works wonderfully :

It costs only one chaos each.

DPS expectations :

In your videos you have shown that the build is still viable with a 4 link Magma Orb (with level 21 Magma Orb and the +3 Staff). What dps can we expect with this 4 links ?

With a Tabula Rasa and :

- Magma orb (level 19)
- Increased AOE
- Controlled Destruction
- Fire Penetration
- Spell Echo
- Lesser Multiple Projectiles
- 2x Syngularity Maces

You can expect 23.000 tooltip dps.

SKilltree : you are probably right, I just took whatever point gave me the most damage as I hit 91 and 92 with the build

Artifice: it is not worth the -25% all imo

elemental overload: I like it, but with kaom I would have to drop my curse, auras, or golems

Mastermind: this has been suggested and I love it, could drop golems for this and elemental overload uptime? I could be more damage although the golems do give a lot(and cast speed)

Bugdet: this seems like a good option, the realm ender staff would also be good with herald of ice instead of herald of thunder

With the four link it is hard to tell how much damage as fire penetration does not show up, but empower only gives around 8k I think, I might check later

In your current setup I would drop your increased AOE gem and faster casting if you don't have
empower

Do you know how much life you loose if you use a Belly of the Beast instead of a Kaom's Heart ?

Do you consider Paragon of Calamity as an absolute necessity against reflected elemental damage ?

With my current 24.000 DPS and 4700 life I don't die to reflected elemental damage but only if I'm very cautious.
I suppose that with a much higher dps (50.000 + ?) it could be extremely dangerous.

I dont know the exact amount but roughly 500-750 is my guess. Paragon of calamity can probably be dropped if you use a ruby flask, ideally dying sun but it is nice.

do u think u can drop 5k dmg by dropping hot and add warlord curse and still wreck bosses?.i cant even imagine playing any build without life leech except totem/trapper?. can u test and tell the result against abyss boss. or we should play like trpper playstyle?. damn gg for doing vaal temple ,it certainly tell about the strength of this build.
