Are'nt totems boring?

They're about as boring as anything else you don't find interesting.
Personally i love them, it might not suit the others.

And i use frenzy with pcoc myself so i still have to keep plenty bussy myself.

I reckon i am actually using a lot more buttons then a regular 1-2 build.

Tell me about it, I have to spam 4 buttons like a maniac in the correct sequence and with 4-second timing intervals with my totem trickster. Lightning warp (20% cast speed buff) > rallying cry > place totem (4 second shaman's dominion buff) > place orb of storms for curse on hit and power charge generation > place second totem. I have a solid build but I have to work for it, there's a huge difference from my usual fully automated 1-2 button builds. I just don't appreciate it as much as you do though, not a fan of having to work for a build :D Already thinking how to reduce the button mashing.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Built-In AoE, Feels like Warchief have better targeting with their attacks versus Protector even with AoE Passives.

Im using it only for buff, I don't use totem build ^ ^
I love totems. They remind me of MedianXL (one of the older versions?).

Spoiler
I also love summoners, even if they kill slowly. Heck, I loved my SRS totemer. Throw them all together! Why not?

Totems that one-shot packs do get boring, as does anything overly powerful. I will agree with you there.

Spoiler
I made 2 warchief totemers during the Prophecy league. The first one was a hierophant that had 3 totems each with a high stun chance, plus his own always-stun attack. Even without resolute technique he was still stunlocking most things. Fun.

The second one was a berserker that had unbelievably huge attack speed and just wiped the floor with everything. It did get pretty boring and repetitive.

But considering how slowly totems work... how long it takes them to setup, target the first enemy and start attacking... I'd say they are not overpowered. They still have tactical possibilities with setting them up as you run away and lead monsters into them. Like improved versions of traps. They repeat and have no stinking timers or number of use limits.

I suppose that is main reason I like totems so much. It is similar to trap play but without the additional restrictions.
