Well I guess the multithreading killed something with the FMOD audio loading and playback? This shit is tough to hunt down, goddam, my friends havin' fun, I'm here playing other shit games :(

I am having a similar problem. After waiting in the queue, I finally log in with my character, and zone to Lioneye's Watch in a1n. Everything is normal at first, I can see other characters moving in town, but when I do any input, such as selecting an area with my mouse to move my character, the game crashes. This has happened about 4 times.
I am going to take a break for an hour, and then try again. I do not know if this is related to the ongoing server memory issues, or if this is another problem entirely. I can open my inventory, passive tree, press f1 to show latency, fps. Edit:

Same problem here, I can log in (after waiting in que for 10 minutes) then the game crashes as soon as I click anything on screen when I log a character it. "poe.exe stopped working"
