Path of Building: Offline Build Planner [v1.4.71]

Thanks for the reply!

2) How do you mean exactly? The actual percentage itself gets modified by applicable stats, then output somewhere? That wouldn't be easy to do; I can't just run arbitrary calculations like that.

If what i've read is correct, the base value of 10% monster HP gets modified by things like general phys. damage from the tree, phys damage as extra damage (like Hatred) and things that make enemies take increased damage (e.g. Vuln) aswell as "more" multipliers.

So for example if i have 120% increased physical damage in my tree, run lvl 20 Hatred and the enemy is cursed with lvl 20 vulnerability i would deal 10%*2.20*1.29=28.38% of the dying monsters max life as physical damage and 10%*2.20*0.36=7.92% as cold to nearby enemies.

These are the numbers im interested in (maybe taking resistances into account). But then again i have no real clue how the program works behind the curtain so this might be way too much effort for such a niche feature.
i would like to try this nice program out

but cannot download it,

PathOfBuilding-1.3.0.zip
PathOfBuilding-Setup-1.3.0.exe

everytime i click on thos or lower versions, the site timesout :(

I downloaded the .exe file some hours ago but I have the same issue now. It seems the github fileservice is some kind of down. Try it later or tomorrow again.
Love this program. Is there some part I'm missing where it tracks max possible charges? And total increased %ES/life? It'd be really interesting to be able to see the amount and sources of more and increased modifiers to life, ES, damage, etc. all in one place... also useful for build planning since there are good rules of thumb for how much increased es or life you need on the tree. The program already does this very clearly for resists, which is nice.
First of all, i love PoB. Amazing tool, thanks alot for that!
I do have a problem with PoB though.

Everytime i try to calculate Poison Damage on double dipping builds, the Posion Damage is not what it should be.

Just an example:

18k Aerage Hit
26k Poison Damage DPS
Total Damage per poison 151k

this is as an assasin with every single chaos/poison/DOT/Phys node in the assasin area.

Its with temp chains, vulnerability, charges, skill plus its supporting gems, crit chance is lucky.

Nothing i do shows the real dps i should have, whoch would be around 5 milion dps, not 151 thousand dps.

can someone help me with this?

However, there is a bug I want to report. The calculation for ancestral warchief now calculates the damage of alternate weapon while dual wielding, when in fact it only calculates the main weapon. I test it with one-handed mace and brightbreak, also with rive claws to see it never bleeds mob if the claw is in the offhand slot.

It works perfectly in previous patch so I do not know why you changed it this way. I just test the aw in dried lake and it works as before.
I haven't touched Ancestral Warchief at all recently, although the ability for skills to use both weapons was only added somewhat recently. The thing is, I don't even decide if a skill uses the main hand or both weapons; that information is exported from the skill data in the game's data files. But I've checked myself, and you are correct that both Ancestral totems use only the main hand, so I'm not sure why they're lacking the main-hand-only skill type; I'll need to create a workaround for it as I can't just edit it into the skill data.

Right. The thing is, I can't just take that 10% and just run a quick damage calculation; it'll involve the whole hit damage calculation routine, which is very complex and requires quite a bit of setup. It's a bit too much effort just for a single stat on a single passive in a little-used ascendancy class; although the code probably would have other uses.

It seems to be working fine at the moment.

That information is already available in the Calcs tab; although max charges only show up if that charge type is enabled in the Configuration tab.

That 151k isn't a DPS number; it's the total damage done by each poison stack. Below it you should see Total DPS inc. Poison, or Average Dmg. inc. Poison for skills that don't have DPS calculated. What's your skill setup?
NVM, Loving this program, thanks!!

Hey can we have more than one buildlist? I've been deleting builds because of eyesore... Good luck with 2.6 btw.
No clue if some1 arlady tell you guys but the flat crit % from assasin and the crit strikes doesnt count in to the crit!
First of all, big thanks for an awesome tool!

I have a question about the Cast on Crit support gem. It says on the wiki that it has "20-39% more spell damage", but when I link it to my Blade Vortex the damage numbers in PoB drop drastically (same number of stacks of course). Is it bugged or am I missing some interaction with the support gem?

Thanks!
