What does "viable build" mean for you?

Has enough dps and clearspeed to destroy red maps fast and efficiently. Also clears gorge in less than 2 minutes

All content except Uber Atziri and 15 maps is a viable build. Those are impossible for 95% of builds and I think a luxury anyway. Idea is be able farm everything else and get your ascendancy.
I've played maybe 25 builds about half I made and only 1 wasnt viable. Pretty happy with that as my time was not wasted back tracking or starting over. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Aug 7, 2016, 1:12:20 PM

Viable: 2:30 minutes or under in T13 watersways with low deaths over time.
Optimal: 1:35 minutes or under in T13 waterways with very low deaths over time. Uber atziri, core malachai should never be a viability benchmark and really only new or inexperienced players use them as such. words that have lost all significant meaning to me thanks to PoE:
viable balanced rewarding when people use these words in the context of PoE (or really any video game for that matter) i proceed to laugh like so HA HA HA! HAHAHAHAHAHA |

Viable for me means that the build can do the content i'm looking to do.
Speed dose not enter into it Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

Since this game is "grindig to grind even more even faster", for me, "viable" means decent clear speed in mid to high tier maps, in comparison with the cost to build it.

" I'm with this guy. But if I had to answer based on what content it can handle, I'd say that if a build can run tier 7-10 maps within 1:30-2 minutes, 3-4 if the layout is bad, then it's viable. |

Nothing anymore. Everything is viable now which used to be the golden goose, only the goalposts moved and only optimal builds have a place in the game according to many.
