Knockback is garbage

I spent 6 points to get king of the hill only to find that knockback does not even move enemies

they need to rename knockback twitch or spastastic

I figured it would blow when I used PW on mobs and saw their Tourette's Syndrome shakes...

Searching the forum beforehand only confirmed my suspicion...

Yes, it is garbage...

I'm sure some "apologist" will come in here and plead his case for it not being horrid, they always do, with EVERYTHING...

there's a keystone named fending and other 2 passives near the templar area

2 x + 15% knockback distance
1 x Fending: + 15% chance to knockback on hit and +15% knockback distance

i've been using this with sweep on my staff templar and doing great, if you stack enough attack speed + high quality(attack speed) sweep with faster attacks all melee monsters can barely touch you.

still im not sure if this is viable in higher lvls.

Knockback does move enemies - that's the only thing it does do -any twitching you're seeing is due to stun or some other effect, knockback has no effect whatsoever on animations, all it does is move the enemy directly away from the character.
It's fun, but not viable at higher levels.

Blatant excuse to dismiss anybody who disagrees with you. KKnockback is good if you know how to use it peoperly.
I made a Quill Rain + Fending passive cluster + Split arrow/chain/ranged-attack-totem character in Closed Beta.

I had zero problems pinning every enemy in the game to a wall and afk-killing them.

Knockback is amazing, but you have to get your attack speed incredibly high before it really starts to shine.
current knocback just breaks the game. Mobs get stuck in the walls and drop no loot
