With all the money she and Bill have squirreled away, Hillary could simply vanish and enjoy her twilight years in the lap of absolute luxury. Instead, she's trapped in the web of her own crimes and political obligations, compelled by ambition and debt to remain in the dirty halls of politics. She doesn't even dare to retire on all that money; let go on their own, things would rapidly devolve into a grotesque revelation of all Hillary's and Bill's misdeeds, which she simply cannot allow while she lives. Thus, she is chained to the DC cesspool until the day she dies, and can only hope that posterity doesn't uncover too much of what she has fought so strenuously to conceal. ='[.]'=

Watching the powers that be scramble so hard to maintain the status quo makes me kind of wish he would win - to let those in power be reminded of the power the people have. He's an idiot and would be an ineffectual president but what his victory would represent would be worth it. Even if the only thing that changes would be an increased resistance by dems and gop to similar future candidates. |
