[2.6] (post 6) [2.3] assassinTempest bow budget build

This item right here, is what i built around.

Vidya:
Quick voll kill (I since respecced from assassin to sabateur)

How it works:
Run around. Pew pew stuff, if you miss you run out of mana. Don't hit elemental reflect maps.

Bandits:
Skill point (Oak would probably be better)
Attack speed (Kraityn)
Skill point

Auras:
Wrath in Voideye
Blasphemy Conductivity

Pro's:
Tankish archer with decent dps
Tree and bow gives a lot of %wed
4 600 life
12 000 Chaining split arrow dps (nice clear)
7 000 Barrage 8 arrows dps (so times 8)
60% lightning penetration
40% lightning resistance reduction aura
so times 2 basically on any hit, and as resistances of mobs goes up, the actual dps boost from the reduction and penetration becomes more and more

Con's:
Tankish, not tank.







Seriousness:
Since you have insane amount if increased damage from tree and the weapon itself, the other gear can have flat damage.


+5 levels on level 20 wrath gives around 50 average flat lightning damage.

try and get as much life as possible.


And static jewel in tree for 1-82 lightning damage close to vaal pact(link to tree at bottom)


So flat lightning damage, lot of increased lightning damage, more weapon elemental damage, 24% lightning penetration from tree, and lightning pen. which is more on more on more, your damage grows exponentially

i had the silly idea that the elemental damage penetration and elemental damage in saboteur would be better, i was wrong.

personally to get more life i'd spec out of those side lane aura nodes. are they even necessary for you?
instead of running inc aoe blasphemy (ridiculous reserve) just run a frenzy curse on hit. frenzy, curse on hit, conductivity, gmp or chain. or if you don't care about frenzy charges, run split arrow, curse on hit, conductivity, chain.
its super fast to cast before anything and doesn't suck up all your mana and thus doesn't suck up all your passives for aura nodes. you don't need every single thing to be cursed either, mostly just bosses and high HP rares. however with split arrow gmp, every mob in packs would be curse with just one press of the mouse or button

now that your mana is freed up you can also run herald of thunder for more flat lightning dmg for a huge dps boost.

i'd change the tree to look something like this


essentially taking out all aura passives and putting it towards more life and better pathing.
this tree gives you 165% life instead of your tree @117. literally just change your inc aoe blasphemy to a curse on hit setup which is super easy to do as bow, and get rid of those aura nodes and use herald of thunder.

if you don't want to use frenzy charges for more atk spd and dmg then unspec the frenzy from the tree. but this would allow you to get 6-7 frenzy charges easy, amounting to +24-28% more damage modifier, and lots of atk spd as well.
you still have some mana leech but you won't need as much. you also have more life leech and a lot more life. you do still have a spot for the jewel to give flat lightning dmg as well by the middle frenzy charge.

you will however have a rough fuckin time maxing your resistances with your gear. will take some min/maxing to pull that off, but you could also use flasks to ease the pain.

let's see with tomorrows free respec, if i drop aruas and put it to life instead :)

i am using a ROTC now as well... blah... i hate BiS uniques... split arrow changed to lightning arrow

the reason i went with all the aura nodes is so that my +6 wrath gives like 60% more lightning damage or something (i forgot, but the buff from wrath was insane aura boost),

i'll maybe put LA Chain CoH Conductivity in the item that was blasphemy conductivity, since that would hit everything nice and easy, also keep the accuracy and resistance nodes since i don't have the currency at the moment for minmaxing my gear

Elemental focus is our strongest dmg resource (%50 more %10 inc on lvl 21), since we already using 2 vinktars shock isnt that kinda problem , also split arrow shocks with a few shots with that do the work if we run out vinktar.I always carry Vaal Lightning trap with gmp it nuke the entire map with shocking ground and works in atziri as well so its indeed essential.(i was thinking to use vaal haste or vaal grace they just req too much souls. But vaal haste is always option for any build)

I think a lot about vinktar dilemma > vinktar is perfect flask for this build but it shocks you so must carry at least 1 immunity to shock flask , switch your curse basalt flask with > immunity shock basalt flash (with extra 20 charges) while boss fighting. or if you dont bother curses change it permanently.
(2 vinktar is optional you can carry 1 but i recommended 2)

Another suggestion: Make a video that isn't Dried Lake.
That doesn't really show what the build can do. x.x
