I am playing around with this build as well since some time and am currently at the stage (Lvl90) where I try to rework the proposed skill tree and check with POB how this will affect my build.
Currently I play with three totems + blood magic in passive skill tree and have equipped the following:
- Tukohama Shield
- Tabula Rasa
- Facebreaker (still without curse on hit)
- Abyssus
- Meginords Girdle
- (I have Loreweave but still not 6 linked it)

1. When I use BLASHEMY + VULNERABILITY I can see enemies will be cursed automatically. Is it correct that cursed enemies will NOT get a chance to bleed when my totems attack due to the fact that we also use ELEMENTAL FOCUS SUPPORT in the 6-link with the totems (supported skills cannot inflict elemental ailments)?

2. When I use BLASPHEMY + WARLORDS MARK di I get the endurance charges when my totems kill a monster?

3. same as question 2... but do I get the mana and life leech of WARLORDS MARK or the totems?

4. What is the point in taking VAAL LIGHTNING TRAP - so far I do not see much value to manually lay a trap that usually triggers way too late

5. is CWDT (Lvl1) + STONE GOLEM (Lvl3) really important as it only grants 39 life reg per second? I am thinking about using something else... why would you keep it or what is your insight about this?

6. I am not a big fan of manually casting VAAL skills (such as VAAL GRACE or VAAL HASTE) and thinking about using something else...
a. either using a gem setup with a CURSE + BLASHEMY (but with the downside to have 35% life reserved) - what CURSE would make sense and do affect me and not my totems?
b. maybe play around with the skill tree to get to the node for an additional curse (the one on facebreaker later)
c. if ELEMENTAL FOCUS stopps the TOTEMS to inflict elemental ailments, what do you think about removing ELEMENTAL FOCUS and always use CONCENTRATED EFFECT instead?

I guess I have more questions and would like to have a chat with you guys... preferably in german... let me know what you think either here or I can also offer a TS3 server to discuss (but then in german please ;-)

as you prefered i will answer your questions in german


1. laut dem wiki zählt bleed nicht zu den elemental ailments "Ignite, chill, freeze and shock are collectively referred to as elemental ailments" was auch sinn macht, da es physicher schaden ist. davon abgesehen macht der bleed aber kaum dmg

2/3. nein du bekommst weder endurance charges noch leechen die totem leben für dich. dafür braucht es einen extra modifier wie zB bei der Chieftain klassee: "1% of Damage dealt by your Totems Leeched to you as Life"

4. vaal lightning trap hilft bei wirklichen starken bossen wie den guardians oder uber atziri etc. es ist einfach ein zusätzlicher more multiplier

5. ich weis nicht wo du ein CWDT setup bei mir mit nem lvl 3er golem gesehen hast o.O

6a/b. es macht überhaupt keinen sinn blasphemy mit blood magic zu nehmen, da 35% weniger life viel zu viel ist.

6c. es macht deutlich mehr sinn mit ele focus UND conc effect zu spielen, als diese gegeneinander auszutauschen, da deren dmg quasi der gleiche ist und conc effect noch den downside hat des geringeren aoe radius. davon abgesehen macht der ignite dmg kaum bis gar keinen schaden und ist somit hinfällig. beste option ist also einfach dauerhaft mit conc effect UND ele focus zu spielen (wie ich es übrigens selber auch mache)

hoffe ich könnte dir ein wenig weiter helfen

yes this is absolute no problem for this build, even in a 4L or 5L (obviously it will take a lot longer to kill izaro than a 6L). all you need is training. learn the boss and dodge mechanics ;)

5. i see it on your boots: CWDT -> Stone Golem -> Vaal Lightning Trap -> Increased Duration.
I thought you keep CWDT on lvl1 to trigger stone golem more often? But when I think about it, you probably max CWDT + STONE GOLEM to get higher life reg, right? Would make sense to me and I should change that;-)

Usually I played with ELE FOCUS + INC AREA EFFECT for fast map clear. Do you not use INC AREA EFFECT anymore at all or do you still use INC AREA EFFECT for map clear speed and swap this to CONC EFFECT for hard bosses as you mentioned?

I also had a look at the passive skill tree... what do you think about the three TOTEM DAMAGE nodes slightly below elemental overload? Could you think of a way to include them in the build without sacrificing to much other stuff? ...just an idea....

5. i double checked my build and i cant find such a low setup :D anyway, as you mentioned the best way is to max out the CWDT+golem setup

6c. i prefer playing with conc effect rather than inc area because im a lazy man :D and with the helmet enchantment with inc area of effect for warchief totems it doesnt realy feel like a downside ;)

The dmg points you mentioned are imho a waste of passive points because you need a "long" way to take them

Hey im new to this build/poe. How much life should i have with this build in order to run uber lab safely. Also how does Tukohamas work since it has blood magic and just cuts my life in half?

you can run ulab as soons as possible, but as a beginner yout should aim for 5k - 5,5k life to be safe imho

you dont use any auras with tukohama. just read my guide carefully (╭ರ_⊙)

added a new Skill Tree (according to A7X89) to the Blood Magic versions of my build. So you can choose between 2 different ones: One for more defence like life and life reg and the other provides more offence with less life etc.
