At level 13 (q0) Brutality gives 52% more physical dmg to supported skills, that's equivalent to a level 23 MdoFL. The exchange is that you can't do any Elemental Dmg (so definitely better for a non-aura build, not true with Hatred + HoA). You should trade them to a vendor with 1 GCP to get a level 1 20% quality gem of the same gem. That will boost it a fair amount once they level again. Try not to do them all at once as it will obviously lower your damage considerably at first using level 1 gems. Might have to drop a map tier or two but they will level fast.
