Your argument at this point is whether GGG should add recommended system requirements, right? You didn't ask my opinion on that, and it doesn't really matter, but i don't think they should. Because i think it would be very hard to add such requirements because of many possible hardware configurations which could end up below these recommendations yet still be able to run the game "acceptably".
"If your game doesn't start having those requirements met - then you complain and ask for those to be updated." - that's when. Is your game not starting?
You don't seem to differentiate between minimum and recommended requirements while there is a big difference between the two.

In fact I do.

Convince GGG to add SSD to their published system requirements, and THEN you can can use this as a retort. Not before.
My argument hasn't changed.
Incidentally, if the argument didn't have merit, then the two questions I asked above should be trivial to answer. I notice you didn't even try. ;)

I think Chris has already answered this in one of the Q&A's. They won't do it. Forced social interaction (mandatory town visits) is vital for their business model. MTX sales would drop if people can't show them off in towns.
Of course, those lag spikes in towns caused by MTX resource loading are very annoying. But they are working on the performance issues.

I think they should add a requirement "To play our game with all the MTX clusterf... you need this spec.". I think this would be the easiest solution. The minimum requirement won't work with what's thrown at you.

they wont you to start in town so others can see your shiny MTX's, so it will make them want to buy them too, unless you want to look like a poor homless scrub without them...
YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions
