It's also not necessary for me to touch my balls whenever I type "Hitler" or "neo-facism" but guess what guy, this is the internets, not your church group where we all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. "Everyone in the West" associates Tom Cruise with hardcore gay sex too but that doesn't make the viewpoint any more valid or worth whimpering about for four+ pages of forum posts.

I can certainly handle the fact that people will be offended on the internets - no problems - just as people who are self-righteously offended on the internets have to handle receiving judgement back. I just enjoy the debate and the rage, guy - if OP wants to have a self-righteous, judgemental rage post then OP can have an opinionated, self-serving rage post back. That ok with you, guy?

I don't know if people in this thread missed their snacks or naps, but damn... I thought the opening poster was a bit over-sensitive until I saw how everybody else reacted.

I agree with the majority in this thread. Firstly, the person opening the trade thread probably didn't have any bad intentions. Secondly there's more than just one meaning to the swastika.

This. I've known several German over the years and every time something even remotely related to this topic is touched they become incredibly overly sensitive. It's impressive.

Pretty similar to black/white relations in America. White people severly overreact to any percieved racial remark; at least toward "minorities;"(hell can people even be called minority anymore? Hispanics will be the majority very soon in USA)there guilt keeps them from standing up for their own injustices. There is one type of racism you can get away with in America; racism towards caucasians. Ive never understood that. I never owned any slaves; hell my family was so poor they probably never even seen a black person half their life. My granddad was so poor he and his brothers picked cotton themselves, and never made it past 5th grade. They worked as children. Why should I have to pay for any type of injustice I, nor my family, even witnessed? Hell, I have native american in my blood. I'm sure at some point in my family's history, they were inslaved/injusticed/screwed over. Who cares? It wasn't me. I didn't experience any of it. But that is for another arguement.

I mean you cant even mention a black person likes chicken without being a racist, even if he does like chicken. Funnily enough, it is usually other white people crying the most about these injustices.

I'm glad to see its not just an American thing in people overreacting to history.
