 What he failed to realize is that the Virtue Gems don't corrupt the user using some mysterious force. Instead, the gems give their wielders just a sampling of power; forever dooming them to seek out ever greater potential until they find themselves in the Belly of the Beast. Until they are willing to do anything for just another taste. |
