Very poor comparison.

People are not blind silly, they look into the quality of the game.

PoE is not even to the standard of what D3 is, try harder.

I'm not trying to backup GGG, I was just pointing out that more often than not, a free microtransaction system beat out a paid on in the same genre of game.

And what is quality anyway? It is a subjective idea. The reason you compare such games based on genre blindly is because people have differing opinions. you and i come to a disagreement in the fact that i like both diablo 3 and PoE.

In fact, why are you even on this forum if this game comes nowhere near your self imposed "standard"?

i like diablo

D3 gets worse with every update. D2 is my #1 game of all time but Im not going to touch D3. Ill let the WOW kids have it. As for POE I might play it, depending on what direction they take it.

D3 is WoW 1.2

id been waitin for D3 for ages now i will not bother with it its made for the same market as WoW and i certainly dont fall into that crowd. it also gets nerfed with every press release as they remove more and more stuff. Currently D3, like WoW, is made for people who like simple games and pretty colours

this game is much more to my tastes and i will b playing it with all my mates instead of D3. i like the much more involving leveling system and the way skills are done with gems and linkin them and levelin them is a stroke of genious

not bashing the system, the implementation is genious, the idea was done in FFVII with materia, and the leveling system is FFX!

I always said someone should use some of these systems in mmos, its about time someone did too! :D

He isn't trolling, what he says is true.

The ones trolling are the kiddies saying D3 is like WoW and have pretty colors, the game is even darker and more beautiful than this D2 clone.

Funny because PoE fanboys are trying way too hard to support a graphically enhanced D2 clone.

They are not PoE fanboys, they support the game cuz it's free..haha what a joke game

I'll definitely be getting Diablo 3 when it comes out, but I got to say this game looks like it captures more of Diablo 2 than its own successor.

It looks like I'll be playing both this and D3. This for gameplay and D3 for its storyline.
