To help out the devs once they finally would put their mind on balancing the PvP scene one day, it seems usefull to let them know what the biggest current problems are, in a very structured and summarized way.

So if everybody who still cares about PvP lists their main 3 issues, this would already give some good insight from the community into what makes PvP bad now.

Please stick to the format below (next post is my own top 3),

1) Aegis.

=> Legacy Aegis is the most unfun item in PvP. Any fast attack / cast speed based build is screwed. Aegis is a hard counter to Blade Vortex, Firestorm, Icestorm, Ball lightning, Cyclone and most non-crit builds in general. The only way to deal with them if you have such a build is to swap a lot of gems around and not play your build, which is extremely annoying at the very least.

2) Inquisitor.

=> Having an Inquisitor opponent is like wearing a Veil of the Night, the worst item in the game. Dropping from 75% resists to 0% pretty much equals a 300% MORE damage for the Inquisitor. It is insanely OP in PvP. In PvE, monsters have zero to mediocre resists, so it is less effective there (still very good though), but in PvP where 75% resists are standard, it absolutely wrecks!

3) Crit bow builds.

=> Bows have so many usefull skills in PvP, which are easy to swap depending on the situation: Puncture, Split, LA, Blast Rain,... . They have unlimited range, due to travelling in the right side of the tree they have a lot of movement speed and crit bows hit like a truck. They simply don't have any weaknesses in PvP where reflect doesn't exist. If PvP ever becomes big, half of the scene will probably be crit bows.

1) (Aegis Aurora, Bone Offering) Flat regain on pseudo random event.
2) (Wicked Ward) Percentage regain over time.
3) (LA, EA, Cluster Trap, Mines) Simultaneous hits.

All problems comes from pvp penalty formula:

fast attacks -> less damage per hit -> aegis become more effective.
less pvp dps -> any % regain equal to immortality.
damage calculated per skill use -> 'shotgunning' grants free x5 damage.

I mention those because it require global mechanic rework.

other things are just damage-wise problems:
beacon of corruption minions deal over 15k pvp dps on single srs death -> cut it to 200 flat degen just by adding one line in to the code.
inquisitor's 50% more pvp damage per hit -> easily become 20% more.
triggered Discharge -> make it affected by attack speed not just predefined T value.
ice storm, flame dash, blast rain etc. -> simply requires pvp damage adjustment.

Also, with uber lab helmet enchantments temporal chains become as broken as it been before, 75% global slow vs player (for 10 points tree investments) limits 'viable' non oneshot-based builds to 'permanent curseimmunity flask' pathfinder and unstoppable juggernaut.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

-Some old skills have pvp damage reduction, new skills have none. Work on it please.

-Aegis block is broken but easy countered by low hit+degen type bleed/poison. Sadly ignite degen got gimped few patch back. Make ignite as good as bleed poison for rt users not only for crit.

For other elemental casters they should have a skill giving lightning degen and cold degen too to counter es regen and blocker.

If you can t give degen possibility to all spectrums of builds then just nerf aegis es regen.

-elemental build should get possibility to be countered by reflect. I don t care how but if you give all those phy relfect items /flask to counter melee, then for fuck sake also give us elemental reflect items/flask to counter 1 millions dps elemental users.

That is a nice thread, but maybe we can have more responses from players with a simple top 3 than such an elaborate in-depth analysis.
