very bad league ;(

+ Fun with a new fresh league to try out new builds and other things.
+ New endgame labyrinth.
+ Game starts up much faster.

- Takes too much coins to remove prophecies.
- Have to go to town to visit prophecy teller.

Yeah, I'd like to also have the option to destroy it for 1 coin.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Well i'm still in tabula, my gems 19/0 - do end lab, kill normal atziri. Good for me.

Problem is with Zana. As i said - must be nerfed. There are so may liers here. They tell fancy stories about how they sustain map pool. But they are just to laugh at. Nothing to do with reality. Reality is u need Zana 8. Zana 8 is made MUST HAVE. This is wrong. Because before i have no zana 8 i'm stuck in t7 maps.

Oh no, that guy again. ^^ I told you before and I'll tell you again, if you can not built a proper map pool without Zana there is only one player to laugh at. It's not that there are thousands of liars it is just you that is so terribad! ;o)

This. I don't know where this guy gets this "Zana 8 is needed to sustain map pool" from, but I sure have done lots of T11+ maps without getting them from Zana 8. Mainly because I had to do them before I had Zana 8.

Lol.

I love how game is getting easier and easier, yet there will always be people who will tell you that it is getting harder. Give people some tools to make game easier - it is necessary from now on.

People were playing just fine without Masters. Imagine how would forums look like if GGG simply removed them from the game. I'd sure need a lot of #PopCorn. :D

@Perq - Imagine a Flashback League to pre 1.3. All these players complaining know nothing about CB/OB/pre 1.3 struggles.

Its funny how some of the previous people hitting 100 are struggling this league, really goes to show the impact of easily accessible gear.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

"But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.

Hoodlift is first to level 100 sc Prophecy build. SteelImage is top of hc ladder but died at level 98. I don't play hc at all because I don't have the physical time to grind that many hours and then if I died from something stupid like lag or an off-screen champion that has reflect I'd be so pissed at GGG for allowing reflect. So nothing GGG does can stop a determined grinder from reaching level 100 in under 2 weeks.

Thus GGG needs to stop concerning themselves with how to stop racers (just let them do what they want to) and focus on the bigger picture of making PoE fun-to-play for the majority of players. If anything GGG should have learned from Perandus League it is the fact that the same old endgame gear starvation is bad for business and going back to the same old endgame vendor trash drops all the time is why the the daily player numbers are always so low after 2 weeks of temp league.

If GGG is to continue to survive as a fun-to-play arpg (I have no clue how they're doing financially) they must work some kind of difficulty factor into this game, whether they like it or not. The main content is a one day (or less) run through by most veterans and then it's grind, grind, grind maps (ad nauseum). So play balance is way off as vets are into maps fast and new players are struggling and quitting in Normal Act 1 from what Chris stated in his State of Exile podcast appearance... err... well at least his voice (I wonder why he can't do a video stream?).

So here I am in 2 weeks of Prophecy fighting damn Internet latency and internal game lag. That I can start PoE and get to the login screen in 3 seconds or so is great. Trying to play either to Dallas or DC realm and getting latency spikes that cause the worse stuttering I've ever experienced (even desync didn't stutter me off playing) is the pits. So I'm only in Cruel on my first build and so far Prophecies are a bore and don't fulfill the roll of a real quest giver. For me I hate the super vague references to blah, blah, blah that leaves me with not knowing what the hell she just said and as I progress I run across a band I've never encountered before and after killing them get the quest completed and then an "oh, that's what that quest was about". Some quests are direct and straight forward "I must sell 5 uniques". With my playing problems of getting a low enough latency to play at all I may not even get enough time to get 5 uniques at all. I hate the fact that GGG sees a level 100 build in 2 weeks and then thinks "must double the 90s levels exp to slow players down". It's sad that GGG can't come up with a better endgame than just grinding maps forever. It's sad that game balance is so rek't.

So far I agree with the OP: VERY BAD LEAGUE ;(
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

It's not too late for them to improve upon the prophecy mechanics.

It's not a 13 week development cycle, it's a 13 week supporter-pack cycle.
You can play any build you want, as long as it's the current meta.
I think this league has the most potential from all past leagues. They just need to remove backtracking, and make prophecies sure to spawn in one of the next areas/maps you enter.

Also people should not mix the league and performance problems, as they are really two separate things that where released at the same time.

+1 to all your points, my sentiments as well. I don't want to draw a conclusion so early though, prophecy doesn't feel that great but neither very bad (for now)...

Also there's one new thing I really like, the Fated uniques - hopefully I'll get my hands on some of those before the end - great idea, and I'd like this to be rolled into Perm leagues.

even if they fix prophecy into a more end game appealing league it s already a little late. It s summer time, the race is over, almost all Poe streamers stopped playing the league coz summer and the league feels like playing standard. See you in September. Maybe

Thanks for acknowledging some people here are just present to screw and laugh at people and not give a single tip.
I will be amazed to see you giving more lessons in the future.
Thanks for acknowledging there are people in forum (you the 1st) with such a sad life that they spend their time laughing at the large amount of people getting issues with the game.
i feel sorry for dudes likes you.
