You can't really compare legacy ripper and reach. Both are scaled differently. Ripper can get a shit ton of flat damage through auras and on gear and you've already mentioned the crit/aps bonus it has.

An idea for improvement:
Since 100% of your physical damage is turned to lightening (50 from phys to light, 50 from LA), why not put a lightning penetration gem instead of physical projectiles attack damage support ? physical projectiles attack damage support gives 33% more damage (1.48*0.9), while lightning penetration will grant you at least 37% more damage. " Alot of the damage is either cold/ lightning, flat 1 light pen is at 50% effectiveness. Whereas higher phys flat, has higher auras, and flask synergy, as not all pve mobs has resistance. On the other hand, i suggest templar, if you wanna get full pen vs bosses etc, but ranger is more so, clear speed/ Move speed style esk. " I missed the hatred aura, which does indeed cause you to yield higher DPS in cases without resistances with your setup. However, the difference is less than 4%, so it might do to consider it against bosses. part of the issue with templar's resistance ignorance is that you cannot reduce it to the negatives for bonus damage, though it tend to be a very good ability regardless. The point of reach is to get 9 projectiles. The point of legacy WR is to get IIQ and not be forced to used a diamond flask to reach near crit cap.
DPS wise, with the same setup and "gmp" on both sides, reach comes out on top in terms of raw dps, heavily if you perma chug a diamond flask. Reach shits all over mirrored bows in terms of cost/performance ratio and that's a good thing. IGN: Arlianth
