Boring Levelling?

Well.. they actually try to make the lvling process more funny with leagues. Unless you run through it. I'm liking the prophecies, i did a lot while lving, was far from boring to me. Just waiting navali help me out with another challenge to start new char and have more fun lvling it, as i said, it is the game and different points of view about it. Not a general thing at all.

I think the point is there is no alternate leveling options. You play the same path through the same story three times on every single character. If you look at say D3 there is adventure mode which allows you to randomize and jump around to do the areas you want, or rifts for even more randomization. In MH there are terminals of varying difficulties, patrol areas, survival room, and group "instances."
I think some easy steps to fix this would be to first change the way the players get certain important rewards, like skill gems unlocking on shops and extra passive points, have them instead awarded at certain level milestones. Then remove all the quests from cruel and merciless and have all waypoints unlocked at the start, so players can jump to whatever zones they want in their level range to level up. Then introduce the map system much earlier at like level 30-40. That's just using what is in the game already, they could also add some completely new leveling content, the point is to have multiple ways to level effectively so players can jump around and do what they are in the mood for or enjoy more. |

Diablo 3's Adventure Mode has it right. I wish we had something like that in PoE.

Suggest an alternative. They give you the lab. You complain. They give you prophecies. You complain. They give you masters to level up. You complain.
There's all sorts of things to do. This one's on you. YOU'RE boring. You're doing the same thing over and over in a game that allows for different things and you complain. That's on you. |

I go in phases. Sometimes like it. Sometimes hate it. I think thats why I've sat out a few ladders and just sit back and watch. I always hate re-leveling masters though.
