Boring Levelling?

Exiles, what do you think? Isn't it boring again again and again passing same areas for endgame? I tried to play prophecy and my patience limits broken after 30 lvl. After 2 years, i have zero alternative levelling way and im just playing other games while hoping for GGG's solutions.

It's the game, isn't? Actually endgame is way more boring TO ME. I mean, you already worked everything you have to in your char, all that is left is playing same maps(sometimes really SAME, only one type drop, isn't it, necropolis?). Lvling is cool to me now because i see my char growing and see if it meets my expectations of what i planned, so, doesn't look like repetitive.

Most people that complain about lvling usually does the same boring build, rush to the endgame and that is it. Not naming anyone, but that is the behavior i see from those i have add that complain about it.

levelling is part of getting stronger to get them all :)
For me it mostly depends on how fun the build i play is. Other than that, it's more fun if you have better movement speed.

You are not alone. The game evolves tremendously around mid to late game. Leveling is undeniable a boring repetition and what make it fresh is that during new leagues, there will be extra features which can be accessed during leveling. However, the leveling itself doesn't change. It's dull and slow. I gave up leveling new character as it's so tedious and time consuming before I can know whether my build works for red tier maps or not.
All those flashy builds that I want to try in red maps, seems impossible since the leveling take an heavy toll on my patience. To make a build, I have to level up a char to lvl70 at least to see if it works and that is what sucks. Unfortunately, it can be seen that there is also a lot of players who love leveling which might deters any intention from GGG to change the leveling system.

leving got story and you enter different zones with differen monster.

In maps you run different zones that are copies of leveling zones, often you run 10 maps of the same layout in one go and monsteras are also different in every zone but they difference mean less and less as they are not tied to tileset and they are just filler for zone.

in leveling you change skills, level faster so yo ugain new power faster so gameplay change faster. In maps you just take +x damage or +x life nodes so gameplay is stagnated as hell. you also change items often that different gameplay in some part but in maps when you are 70+ chance that you will get unique that change game are equal almost to 0.

hack n slash i based on grinding for hours doing the same shit over and over and in endgame it is just more grinding to get level. How is this not boing but leveling is. WTF?


Oh and you got you account with veryhigh level in standard why you go to play prophecy if prophecies are going to push your 80+ character to lvl 65 leveling zone in act 1 that y uhate so much?

And what is the difference between this and endgame so? It is the same thing. Just a different point of view. It is just you/ way of thinking getting bored, not a general thing.

Yes i know endgame is same but we all love this game and that means we want to play this game. And if levelling can be better i can pass the endgame. Im not talking about endgame here i know it is same. Im talking about levelling. I didnt said endgame is different than levelling.

Levelling is part of the fun for me.
The more or less arbitrary level requirements for skills can be annoying. If you want to build a cycloner or experiment with CoMK you've got to get to level 28 and 38 respectively.

But once you have the skills you want to use, it's nice seeing yourself growing stronger (or not, time to rebuild), getting closer to being able to do maps, Atziri, Überatziri, End Game Labyrinth.

If levelling a char is so boring for you, there's standard, where all your old chars sit, waiting to be played. WIth a little investment you can even get a full respec and make a new char from them without levelling a new one.
