I hate how WB can't go up/down or across a gap. It's great for open areas though, IF and a big IF, you have faster attack and some attack speed. Run level 1 WB unsupported and the animation takes approx. 4 eternities to finish. I prefer leap and LW since you can skip more.

" There is no skill in the game called "Whirlwing blades". Therefore it isn't the best skill in the game. Therefore you are wrong. |

I generally prefer leap slam solely for the gap-jumping.
That said, shield charge is basically the old super-fast whirling blades with the aftershock of earthquake tacked on at the end. It's insane. WB is okay, but hardly the best skill in the game unless you happen to spec into a build that uses daggers and attack speed (so, CoC). |

I perfect lightning warp, however the utility and proks that whirling blades give push it over the top for sure.
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

" In order to prove you wrong we would have to establish quantifiable values to what "best" actually means in terms of hard numbers. If you just say something subjective and vague like "best", then you're right - no one can prove you wrong. Because it's subjective. It could be "best" to you and total crap to everyone else and that still wouldn't change it being "best" to you. So assuming that we actually define what "best" means as follows: highest dps of any skill in the game hits the most targets fastest average mob kill count per hour is positively affected by the most number of support gems is positively affected by the most number of passives easiest to obtain (time + currency) maybe someone can crunch all those numbers and compare them to the rest of the skill gems in the game on the same points, but that would take forever. It's possible, but tedious. p.s. 19 challenges?! dafuq. go to sleep already o_o Last edited by Darkfyre#6647 on Jun 7, 2016, 5:42:57 PM

they need to at least make the movement skills travel to closest targetable location next to the point where you attempted to cast the movement skill if that point is untargetable.
what i mean is..when you teleport, charge, leap or whatever in D2 at a wall or some, the character will perform that action to the next closest location to which they can move to. In poe if you click on a boulder/pillar/etc your character sits there confused waiting to get killed >..> |
