I'm in complete agreement with you, I LOVE Whirling Blades, and I hate it when I have a char that can't use it. However, from what I hear, shield charge may have been brought up to par with it, haven't had the chance to test it though yet as I still can't play the league
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.

It depends on the map. Ton of jail doors or ledges? Flame dash or warp is better. Ton of tiny debris or jagged cave walls to get stuck on? Flame dash or warp is better. Wide open space with nothing to hinder your movement? Whirling blades can't be beat.

Really? I prefer Leap Slam by a long margin over all the other movement skills (aside from Flicker Strike - but i feel like that doesnt count)
You cant go up levels, jump over gaps etc with WB. LS all day long. I hate it when I cant use it on a char :P |

I hate relying on movement skills. Hate it.
Of the options presented, I typically go with leap slap or blink arrow... but only situationally. I don't just leap/blink through an area. Gives me headaches. |
