Who else plays with sub-30 fps in solo play?

That is my exact situation as well. When out of combat, I never drop below 60, even with dynamic shadows and maxed settings in a town full of people. The spells are what do it for me. I don't usually drop when it's just physical attacks, but when myself or an enemy starts using skills with particle effects such as magic, it tanks. It grows exponentially worse in a party.

If you read my above post, someone posted a massive fix to this. Your computer is probably good enough to where you don't need to use "4", but if you set it to 2 your game should still look halfway decent and I can guarantee you won't get fps drops.

Go to documents>games>PoE>Production_Config, find texture quality. It should be at the default 1, change it to 4 (a higher number = lower graphics quality). Your game will look like shit, but it will be the smoothest shit you've seen.
