Can we get a way to get rid of prophecies without wasting time/coins?

I don't necessarily agree with the "1 coin to cancel" crowd...but I will say requiring sometimes up to 13 coins to get rid of a prophecy that's not even good (i.e. You will find 1 specific enemy in an entire large area) seems a bit ridiculous.

I think the game did a good job while leveling to make players explore the maps a bit more. Once you are in end game mapping, however, it sucks to go back to act 1 prison to look for some critter that doesn't even spawn every time. Then when you finally find it? "Prophecy Complete"....that's it. Not XP for using your time to fulfill that prophecy...just "poof" you're done...go get another prophecy and pray it isn't crappy.

Leaves a bad taste in my mouth when this happens...

The best solution is to not ever ask the NPC for tasks to begin with. The majority are useless anyway.
1 coin is clearly not a big enough sink. you just brute force the 'great' prophecies then.

a sink isnt a 'checkbox' kind of a thing to exist just to check the checkbox. a one-coin cost is trivial and negligible.

Well 1 coin to reroll the prophecy could be a big enough sink if the odds of the very rare/valuable prophecies were increased.
Maybe it should be possible to vendor prophecies for 1 coin each? That way sealing them is still the only method of removing them, but you can get back at least what you paid to get it in the first place.

SO sick of getting them for the last act when I'm trying to progress or getting them for the next act when I may not even be able to attempt them yet.

+1, this is really annoying. 3 of my P-slots are locked because they are for acts which I haven't progressed to yet. And coins are scarce, so I can't seal them.
I guess doing all prophecies while levelling made me overlevelled for all areas...

Heck, GGG could make it 2 coins to delete a prophecy if it was decided that 1 was too few. Or even something else like half the cost to seal might be another option.

Im almost at the point of giving up on the prophecy mechanic in all honesty. Just forcing me to farm trivial shit content for trivial shit rewards or pay all my coins to itemise them and then cursor delete them then I dont rly have any coins to buy more prophecies which I then have to delete. In order to play this league I either have to use all my orbs to buy coins from other players or spend all my time killing lvl62 mobs to get a vendor tier unique I already have a bunch of.

its bullshit, needs reworked fairly quickly while theres still people playing the league, Im already logging back over to standard to play there because prophecy just feels pointless tbh.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Please GGG, I'm really tired, that rare will not spawn, and I really do not want the unique nor spend coins.
