Can we get a way to get rid of prophecies without wasting time/coins?

When you get your 15th "Seek out a rare monster type to kill for a useless unique" at level 80, it starts to become a chore, especially since some of these monsters are for some reason insanely rare (I have to ask, GGG, did you ninja nerf spawn rates just for these?)

I wasted 30+ minutes looking for a rare frost priest, even wasted currency rolling boxes for 3 rare monsters, and I STILL haven't found one.

And wasting 8 coins to seal it away, especially when no one in their right mind would buy it, is a piss poor option.

Absolutely. There needs to be a way to drop a prophecy that you just don't want to do that doesn't cost coins, or is way cheaper. Like 1 coin to cancel a prophecy would be ok with me. Preferably it should be free.

I think dismissal of prophecy is applicable, especially if you are in a different difficulty or needing to kill a champ with a certain unique item you don't have or can not use with your build. I'm not sure how it would work thematically though...its a prophecy after all...

Surely if you can seal and sell a prophecy you can simply "skip" one as well.

Of course, the reason GGG won't do this is because then people would simply spam "Seek Prophecy" to more easily get the ones they want. So there probably needs to be a cost to skip a prophecy OR the cost to seal prophecies needs to come way down.

Maybe?

TBH, for every prophecy that is horrible and wastes time, there are good prophecies and some semi-useful ones.

Take the extra chaos from the chaos recepie one. If you don't have a recepie it might sit eating up a prophecy slot, but a chaos is still a chaos, and you can complete it via normal game-play.

So there are a few people might not just roll over and save it for later.

If there was a price, then yes, one coin to remove a prophecy would be okay and manageable.

Yep, it is pretty annoying. I'm out of coin already. Will have to focus on farm them to be able to skip those repeated prophecies. But i don't think they will remove it, it is probably the objective of them, act as fillers so we don't finish the main prophecies too fast.
Sometimes...
I like the idea of a cheaper price to delete a prophecy rather than sealing it. Free would be bad for the reason pointed out, then someone could just spam seeks and deletes, seeks and deletes, until they got whatever they wanted.

They're not cheap/free for a reason! -_-

Are you people serious?

It's a Coin sink! If it was less hassle, or cheaper, or free, then it'd be insane. You'd be able to get all the good ones for free whenever you wanted, and it'd crash the Map, Unique, and 6L economy.

The hassle is a GOOD thing! Stop being lazy and impatient. Either bite the bullet and Seal them, or enter the zone and leave, or don't bother with Seeking Prophecies and just buy the ones you want from people for the Coins you get. Asking for the stupid, is just a waste of time...

+1 op

Sealing should be for when you want to sell it or keep it for later. There should be a way to cancel prophecies, and 1 coin cost sounds fine to me. Since you get ~1 silver coin per zone, after 2 maps you will have cancelled a single undesirable prophecy and started a new one.
