Which is so weird tbh. Like, okay, it's not raining headhunters, but the prophecy mechanic is way more fun and interactive than perandus. Which is why I keep buying silver coins :P

Not that weird, outside of the challenge league prophecy mod, the base game is pretty much the same. Same lab that many don't like ( + one more Uber version gating two more points) Same leveling thru the game x12 acts each character, and more bugs and server issues. For anyone who didn't like those problems in ascendancy, they weren't fixed for prophecy.

Unique enemies, aka bosses won't shatter when they reach 1\3 life, which means you still have some part of the fight to play out.


That being said if you wanted to do as little of the fight as possible, playing slayer with the super cull would work.

i do like 50k per hit. nothing except Izaro himself survives one hit so there is nothing to prolif from. and you cannot shatter unique bosses (true bummer with +IIR Threshold Jewel for GH..)

i did him thrice with this character. it was a challenge each time but it was also one of the most intense moments in my POE history. Izaro fight is FAIR - if you do not lag that is - there are no BS one shots, stuff is properly telegraphed, there are adds to feed on etc.

it only other map bosses were so FUN..

I'm not listening to standard lvl 100 players with god knows what kinda OP gear talk about under powered. Level as normal with say 5-10ex in gear like the vast majority of players and do uber lab at 80-85 and then talk.

I can literally walk through traps and face tank every boss in game with many std builds/gear. Doesnt make it normal experience.

First, +2 more valuable Ascendancy pts to power creep your character to 'Super/Max' Ascendancy should be much more difficult and rewarding to obtain than pts 1-6.

Second, the level of the labyrinth should be 80, there aren't enough mob packs in there that makes it as tough as a typical yellow 75 map. The traps really aren't that much difficult or different, the new sentinels are cheese and real easy to destroy. Running endgame lab for a character assumes it should have 6 Asc pts, so it is already very strong and able to finish endgame lab with ease.

Third, by now most players are used to running the lab, fighting Izaro and dealing with traps, so the endgame lab needs much more difficult layouts than what it is atm, which is pretty much the same as normal labs.

Increase Izaro damage, increase level of the lab map, and increase trap damage. At this current state, a character with 6 pts running endgame is breezing through it which defeats the purpose of it 'suppose to take a while to finish and achieve' (paraphrasing GGG).


I do understand your desire for difficult content, but keep in mind that not everyone is so lucky to have a perfect internet connection.

I tried end game Izaro ~ 10 times now, and succeeded only once. He is so fast with his oneshots, that its almost undoable. I have frequent stutter here, due to my internet connection. The stutter is too severe to avoid the oneshots because the oneshots are just too fast (I can -barely- avoid the Dominus and Vaal slams, but this one is just too fast).

So I need to freeze him to be able to defeat him. I can't freeze him enough to be able to defeat him. Somehow, an oneshot always comes through.

So my only option is to make a char that can tank him. Don't make Izaro more difficult than he already is. Regular people that aren't able to afford a private fiber connection also like to be able to play PoE and all of its content.
