Hi, I wonder if this build will be viable for 2.4 too? Do you think they will nerf something or any parts of the build? Cause I heard they are nerfing CoC builds. When something is overpowered they are nerfing it.... sigh

I pretty sure some nerfs will effect the build:

1. no reach bow - so it's a huge loss, you will need a good rare bow to have half the effect
2. i'm pretty sure poison is going to be nerfed somehow

other then that, I used many mechanics to make the build OP, so they need to nerf too many things to get to us :D

Reach is a league specific item and it is currently obtainable with "Lost treasure" Div card.

But there are plenty of "league specific" uniques and getting Reach will be very very (if not impossible) to get in a new league without prophecies becoming core part of the game.

Death's Opus will also be out of "reach (;D)" most likely.

Getting High Crit High DPS Harb will be the best option here. With good Harb you can drop "Increased Critical Strikes Chance" support get and replace it with GMP. Overall dmg will go down.

But i dont think it's a bad thing. Reach destroyed market for Rare Phys Bows.

Currently with Death's Opus Im "reaching" over 15k on Barrage (its a 200 dps bow, Harbs can go to 500+), so dps should not be a problem with good Harb.

450 dps Harb should have similar dps to Reach. (Only problem will be price, 450 Pdps 9+% crit harb would cost from 10-15 ex and then you have to 6l it.)

It is, but I found it not cost effective, you need all the nodes I took

1) Dropped Cospri not sure yet if going for Kintsurugi or Rare yet
2) Picked Dirty Techniques not only for poison but also Skill Duration ( 1.5 sec longer V haste/grace)
3) Not running Reach to see how high dps can go with Death's Opus

LA for mapping (extrimely good) w/ FrostWall for bosses

Barrage for UNIQUE bosses - Vaal Rain Arrows (8.5 sec) for moving bosses beside Izaro

Prophecy will make into the core game!! That means reach of the council will be obtainable, right? That saves this build. Although I think they will nerf reach a bit, but it will stay viable for sure.

I see that you use a faster setup in your profile. While you opt for a slower setup in the gear you have posted.

And the offensive/defensive pictures would REALLY help to analyze the build better.

about link setup, the general is known, I don't make guides that don't leave some thought of the players.

btw, did a quick calculation of the dps when reach becomes a nerfed legacybow that none will use anymore.

Reach as of today = 350pdps * 11 arrows hitting(barrage4+helm2+quiver1+reach4, the volley arrows CAN'T hit the same mob as the main or added arrows from "non-jewel" affixes. = 3850dps that goes over into poison etc.

High pdps bow 500pdps = 500dps*7 arrows(loosing the extra 4 from reach) = 3500dps.
Keep in mind thou that this kind of pdps bow costs 150+ exalts, and it is NO option for new leagues.

Obtainable bow for new league 375pdps = 375*7 arrows = 2625dps.

So if we don't get reach then we won't hit more then around 2/3 of the effectiveness of the original build. It will still be powerful, but just not AS powerful as the original.

Let's wait and see what happens with reach when the league ends.

What i can see you have ran two different setups, where the more recent with faster proj and faster attacks seem a good alternative when wanting to clear mapcontent faster.
I do understand what you say, i just wished you would explain and talk more about the choices you made and the experience trying to run different gems =)
