The labyrinth is difficult, but not entirely necessary to be completed, while also offering great rewards if it is completed.

If those rewards are moved from the labyrinth, they may as well delete the whole thing.

It matters not one bit how much of the OP is correct or not. There's far more than enough people who, at least, don't mind running Lab that there's no reason to make any significant changes.

You are mistaking 30% not liking and 30% hating

a company cannot have 30% of their costumers "hate" a feature


yet, most of those people who hate lab arent asking for it to be removed, they are asking for ascendency points and enchants to be moved out of it till lab is bearable

To OP, your whole post is about assumptions, there is nothing there we didn't already discussed on the other topic. But I guess it's the new generation : we want power, and we want it now !

Instead of pinpointing the problems with lab : you lose your progression if you DC, you just stand there say : We don't like lab, do something.

If we go by popularity thinkings, then pop is the best music, D3>D2 and newer wows better than vanilla/tbc. Fastfood maybe McD is the best food in the world.

Popularity thinking really is a dangerous road for game devs and usually leads more or less directly to downfall of greatness. It comes instead of personal vision of game direction, and when numbers(popularity, money) starts meaning more than quality of art. That path leads to loss of care.
