[guide] How to be unhappy in PoE and unpleasant in the forum

Thanks, I had a lot of practice at some pretty hardcore boards (T15 rare map material), it will turn you into either a master or a rutabaga farmer. Fortunately, there's no shortcut to success when boarding is concerned so we shouldn't fear the knowledge leaking to the unwashed masses. I still remember what my old math teacher used to say to us when asked how does he know which method to use for problems - "solve ten thousand problems and you shall know it too". Very eastern and kung-fooey, right?

I have a deep respect for Eastern philosophy. It tends to get exploited by charlatans but at its core it's precious. Asians know the path to true mastery goes through relentless practice. There's just a small caveat: you need natural aptitude too.

Your math teacher reminded me of a chess master who, when asked for advice, said, 'only make strong moves'.

Maybe I should really add a leveling section to the forum. 'If you think writing 10,000 posts will elevate you to god tier, you'll never reach god tier. The only proper way to write 10,000 posts is by not trying to write them. If you want to reach god tier, you have already failed. The way to god tier goes through not wanting.

God tier is like basic tier, just different. What's the difference? Write 10,000 posts without trying and you'll know.'

It doesn't suffer, it embraces it :P

You could read The Way of Zen by Alan Watts, it's an interesting book and has the benefit of being written by a Westerner who tries to bridge the gap between two diametrically opposite ways of thinking about the world.

In other news, I would like to stay firmly ontopic and announce, without any bias, that people who love coc are the second most predominant demographic in the straw poll.

I suppose it's that pesky perspective thingy again, the devoted claim they embrace their religion and others often say they are actually suffering from it :)

Strictly on the topic, I am pleased to see my party firmly in the lead, who knows, maybe the day when every single thing gets nerfed and the eternal nightfall embraces us all is finally at hand.

I beg to differ, with my guide you can defeat Uber without any items, without a build and without having actually defeated her. It's the cheapest Uber viable build there is.
