... Snail Time ...

A few minutes ago finally happened what I was looking forward. Yesterday I changed my build... Now I can withstand several Storm Bearers explosions even as I am attacked by other monsters at the same time, and all this on a map T12 (Shipyard). I have obtained the same result also with Frost Bearers. And I'm not talking about seeing the ball and run to a safe distance to be reached perhaps by one or two explosions. I'm talking about killing the Bearers almost at melee and stay motionless in the same place without even using any flask to increase resistance. I have not yet had the opportunity to test with fire but the result should be the same... If the balls explode in sequence and not all at the same point or at the same time (difficult scenario, unlikely but possible) I can resist... and without spending a miserable Ex.

This is what should try Turnip rather than give up. If I did it almost without resources in a T12, he could easily accomplish this with resources in a Gorge (T9) and Plateau (T10).

This is my equipment and my build. Gems still in process of lvl...

That 100 exalt could even indirectly buy him level 100 if he wanted...
I chatted with Turnip a few days ago...he was running some maps and seemed in good spirits. Perhaps he has other things going on - either way, I'm sure we will see him around here again. :)

New build looks interesting, Act.

Oh...and I also joined the 98 club. Big, fat hairy deal. :-)

I kept careful notes on my last 5%...it took me 21 maps to reach it, mostly Gorges, Canyons and a few Arid Lakes and Plateaus. I'm very low on maps now but I'm taking a break from grinding...got a big stack of unidentified Rare maps for my MF Chieftain to have fun with...and I want to record an Atziri run so I can remember my best character ever in POE before the 2.4 CoC nerf most likely ruins my build.

Also thinking of doing an Uber run since I have some spare exalts to buy the other map fragments I need...I will probably get wrecked, but I have to try it at least once.

Now excuse me while I tip back my celebratory pint of ale. ^_^

Every cloud has a silver lining. My recent stupid death made me change my build before time. If were not for it is very unlikely that I would have gone today to the Springs where I dropped the card "The Doctor" that I sold in 12 ex. in less than 1 hour XD

12 ex sounds worth it to me! Soon you will have more exalts than Turnip. :)

Btw Act, looked at your gear again...is Bladefall your main attack? I see all of the CWDT spells...just wondering how it all works together.

97...oh wait...I'm 98.0%...lol. :D
A video is worth a thousand words... Sorry the bad quality XD.

She does not have the slightest chance. She or some other monster hits me and I can earn in an instant my 7 endurance charges. I kill some monster and will be the same. My normal HP regen is about 600 per second. With endurance charges rises above 700 per second. Immortal call lasts long enough, and also my Chest Armor makes me recover 700 HP every time the Endurance Charges is consumed... And don't forget the Leech of spells with CWDT.

:D

This is what you call a Drinking Man's Build...you leave the game AFK and have a drink while your enemies foolishly try to harm you. :)

Very interesting approach. My CI Occultist is kind of like this...15,500 ES and nearly 2400 regen per second...sometimes I just leave her in maps and laugh while enemies and bosses attack her from all sides while Firestorms and Shock Novas blast them to bits...it is a lot of fun.

It looks like you are the only one still grinding. Sarang and Deadpeng have both hit 100...I'm taking a long break at 98 and Turnip is off chasing girls or something. :D

Unfortunately I have no video but I know that I did it and that's what counts.
I never thought it was so easy, but my build has managed seamlessly tanking the 3 Courtyard (map Tier 13, lvl 80) Bosses at the same time and with 96% additional damage as Fire... I entered the room, cleared the area of trash mobs and then I was still on my site attacking and leaving totems, spells and physical attacks come to me... no problem. It feels good to be a tank, although my leveling is now slower but security in these instances is something priceless.

There is something to be said for being tanky. I designed my Pathfinder that way...but even with my new Belly of the Beast she still only has 5850 HP and 600 ES. Without it she has 5500 HP and 1700 ES. But she can facetank many bosses...I ran through Death and Taxes last night and facetanked all forms of the boss and it wasn't very challenging...but back in the day that map used to scare the hell out of me.

Some bosses can easily kill me because a very high spike of damage will take me out...but I'd like to design another Pathfinder with the same base idea but instead having 7-8000 HP...now that would be a tank. :)
Maybe we can do a duel to see which is the most tank :P
I don't think any of our characters is designed for PvP but a tank is a tank xD
