Wow, that sucks. I've got a five socket bow to link, and your experience makes me wonder if I should continue trying (about 80 unlinking orbs gambled away on it so far).

No reason to rant. You obviously knew the approximate odds. Given a guess of 1% to 5L and .1% to 6L, you'll have many people with streaks of 200+ without either.

have crafted many 5Ls with less than 20 fusings , and once spent 8 exalt in fuses to get a good armor 5L and did not get it.. Its RNG

I propose having at least 100 fuse , if you want to be sure give 150 fuses to vorici.

In your place I'd continue throwing fuse as I go, and also use armor scraps (5 or 10 scrap per fuse).

But it depends on what kind of player you are. If you play regularily and plan to create many 5-links, then always gamble yourself. If you are a casual player and you wont 5-link many items in a league, then use safe bet Vorici.

I've 5-linked more than 50 items so far (many white ones, using scraps). And on average it cost me less than 100 fus.

i somtimes link in 100, and sometimes link stuff in 4 fuses so it takes me roughly 50-75 on avreage

I remember people saying "don't use Vorici for a 5l, you could get a six link if you play the RNG game."... And loose 700 fusings.

My normal expectation is between 80 and 150, meaning that I dont try to fuse anything with under 150 fusings in my stash. Havent failed to 5l once, but only got a 6L once.

I've used Vorici once and had one go at 5 linking three common unique chests I six socketed hoping for a lucky 6L in the process and sell for some profit.

283 fusings to 5L first, 60 fusings for the second the 184 with no 5L on the third.

It's all RNG, some people get lucky others don't.
